云母的解理断裂及其在珠光颜料中的应用

【摘要】 绢云母是一种重要的矿物资源,国内有着丰富、质量好的云母资源。云母具有优良的电绝缘性、耐热性、耐水性、耐化学腐蚀性、弹性和高剥离性,具有其它资源不可替代的优势。随着大片云母资源的日益减少和云母资源的综合利用的开展,云母的产品结构发生了重大变化。云母粉的应用和开发得到了很大的发展,应用范围越来越广泛。云母作为功能材料或填料都需要高纯度、细的粒度、高白度和高径厚比。目前云母资源的开发利用现状是国内生产厂家对云母资源的深加工力度不够。另外,云母珠光颜料凭借其在可见光照射下自然的珠光效应和优异的化学稳定性、多彩及无毒害等优点受到越来越广泛的应用。但是国产云母珠光颜料普遍存在光泽较差,颜色不鲜艳,润湿性、分散性不好等问题,也成为国内珠光颜料生产企业的难点。解理断裂试验研究结果表明:绢云母矿物材料通过改变解理断裂方式、搅拌转速,可获得不同质量的云母产品。解理断裂过程中,云母的粉碎作用主要是冲击、剪切和研磨,采用在云母水溶液中加入一定粘度的高分子材料方式,可以获得径厚比大(大于80),光泽很好的云母粉。通过酸处理后,云母白度达到75以上。通过对影响云母珠光颜料质量的各种因素探索试验,确定了制备云母珠光颜料的最佳工艺。采取镀前把云母用酸预处理使云母白度提高,特别是关键的镀膜工艺较好因素条件为pH值控制在2-2.5之间,反应温度为80℃,钛盐浓度为15%,搅拌速率控制在250-300r/min,反应时间3.5h,以及后处理的煅烧温度为800℃,恒温时间为2h,从而极大的提高了产品的光泽。本文通过云母解理断裂和珠光颜料的制备的试验研究,分别对云母解理断裂作用方式对解理断裂效率的影响机理和云母钛珠光颜料复合机理探讨,对我国云母资源的综合开发利用有促进作用。

【Abstract】 Sericite is a kind of natural inorganic material. In our country there is a abundant of this resource. Mica has the excellent properties of electrical insulation, heat resistance, water resistance, chemical corrosion resistance and high cleavage. Those properties of sericite may not be substituted by other mineral resource. At present, the domestic level of sericite processing is lower. The most products are primary or secondary products. With the development of material science those can’t satisfied with the quality requirement. As a functional material or filling there is the need of higher content whiteness and aspect ratio. Then, mica pearlescent pigments are now more and more widely used as they endow objects with deeply three-dimensional space character by means of sunlight irradiation together with their other excellent capabilities, such as chemical resistance, abundance of color and innocuity. It still exists many problems. For example, the pearlescent luster is faint, the color is not pure and the wetting performance and disperse capability is not good enough. These producers in China are also face the same difficulty in manufacture. Also, mica resource is decreasing quickly with increasing use. Using sericite to substitute mica becomes more and more important.The cleavage fracture results showed that: by changing the cleavage fracture mode, stirring speed, sericite mineral materials can be possessed to different quality mica products. The cleavage fracture process of can be obtained through attrition and shearing. In this study, the brighter sericite with aspect ratio over 80 was obtained by adding a certain viscosity of polymer materials in aqueous solution. By acid treatment, the whiteness was over 75.The preparation of the optimum mica pearlescent pigments was sure the mastering of the various crafts of the influence factors. Fistly, mica with acid pretreatment enhance the whiteness before plating mica, secondly, in particular, in the critical craft of the plating ,we found the optical parameter of this craft were that the pH value was between 2 and 2.5, the reaction temperature is 80℃,the titanium salinity is 15%,stirring rate was 250-300r/min, hydrolitic reaction time was 3.5h,and the optimum factors which influence the whiteness and luster of the final production are calcining at 800℃for 2h.In this paper, sericite cleavage fracture and the preparation of pearlescent pigments pilot were studied, and we also discussed the mechanism of the sericite cleavage fracture and the deposit procedure of mica pearlescent pigments, which will play part in developing sericite application in our national and economic development.
