优质中外高校合作办学的研究

【摘要】 随着经济全球化以及教育国际化,对国际型人才需求越来越多,中外合作办学应运而生。目前,我国中外合作办学数量高达1000多个,对培养国际型人才起到积极的作用,但是仍存在大量的问题,尤其是低水平问题日益突出。如何培养高端国际化人才,成为当前的一个急需解决的大问题。南京大学—约翰斯·霍普金斯大学中美文化研究中心(以下简称中美中心)不仅是国内起步最早的中外合作办学机构,也是目前合作最为持久、教学最为成功、国际上最具影响力的中外合作办学机构之一。经过二十三年的建设与发展,中美中心已成为中美两国在教育学术领域合作的成功范例,其高水平办学得到了中美两国的一致认同。迄今为止,南京大学和霍普金斯大学两校这一首创性的合作,以及中美中心的运作方式在全中国仍是独一无二的。本文拟从中外合作办学模式的定义、原因分析、意义、发展历程、可行性以及存在的问题来讨论中外合作办学,并以南京大学—约翰斯·霍普金斯大学中美文化研究中心为例,以其十大成功经验来探讨中美中心二十三年以来的成功之处,以期给中外合作办学提供参考与借鉴。笔者认为中美中心十大成功经验可以归纳为:明确的定位,选择优质的合作伙伴,聘请高水平师资,开设特色课程,打造一流的教学模式,开展高质量的学术活动,建设一流的图书馆,提供全面系统的就业指导,实施民主式管理,以及组织丰富的课余活动。
【Abstract】 With the economic globalization and education internationalization, the demands of international elites are on the increase. That’s why so many Chinese-foreign cooperations in running schools have emerged. At present, the number of Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools reaches up to more than 1000, which has a positive effect on cultivation of talents, but there still exits a lot of problems, especially the quality in low level. The urgent issue for us to deal with is how to cultivate high-end internationalized personnel.The Johns Hopkins University - Nanjing University Center for Chinese and American Studies (HNC) is not only the earliest Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run schools, but also one of the most lasting cooperation, the most successful teaching, and the most influential Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run schools in the world. After twenty three years of construction and development, HNC has become the most successful sample in education academicals area between Chinese and America, and its high-level quality in running school win concordant identification both in China and America. So far, this new way of cooperation between Johns Hopkins University and Nanjing University as well as operating methods of HNC has been unparalleled.This dissertation starts from discussing Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools definition, cause factor analysis, importance, development history, feasibility, problems, and then moves on to analyze the example of HNC. The writer shares ten successful experiences to research the reason why HNC becomes so successful, so as to provide referential meaning and great significance to Chinese-Foreign cooperation in running schools. The writer concludes with ten successful experiences: locating definitely, selecting high-level partner, hiring excellent professors, opening unique courses, offering first rank teaching model, launching high quality academic activities, supplying top-ranking library, ail-roundly and systematically careers guidance, democratic management, and colorful extracurricular activities.
