DFT调制方向滤波器组及其在图象去噪中的应用

【摘要】 图像的方向信息的提取在图像处理中一直是很重要的环节,现有的各种方向提取方法虽然已经具有很好的方向提取特性,可是在设计难度和高低频划分等方面还是有着一些不足。本文研究了DFT调制方向滤波器组在图像噪声去除中的应用。通过对DFT调制滤波器组的二维扩展构造了对于方向具有选择性的滤波器组,在方向提取方面,相比于目前常见的方法有很多优点:有别于传统的可分的小波滤波器组,它消除了对角子带的方向交叉,并且可以提供更多的方向信息。同时,它也有别于传统的方向滤波器组,新的方向滤波器组在频率分割上具有更大的灵活性。进一步,提出的方向滤波器组被应用到图像去噪中,实验结果表明,使用新方向滤波器组的噪声去除算法能够明显改善噪声去除性能。

【Abstract】 The description of directional information in image is always an important issue in image processing. There are many methods to extract the directional information of images. However, the underlying filter banks are often complicated in design and the frequency tiling suffers from some limitation in some extent. This paper proposes a new directional filter banks based on DFT modulated filter and applies the new directional filter banks in image denoising. The directional filter bank (DFB) based on 1-D DFT modulated filter is different from separable wavelet filter banks. It avoids the directional across in diagonal subbands and provides finer directional information than wavelet filter bank does. It is also different from the conventional DFBs and the new DFBs are more flexible in directional selectivity. Further, the proposed DFB is applied to image denoising and the experimental results show that the denoising algorithm using the new DFBs can significantly improve denoising performance.
