【摘要】 本文以明末至清代中期《水浒传》的三部主要续书《水浒后传》、《后水浒传》、《荡寇志》为研究对象，以社会动态和士人心态的转换为依托，细致深入地解读文本，比较续书作者对原著的敷衍、改写，运用知人论世的方法探讨这三部续书的思想文化意蕴，并对其作出较为客观、公正的评价。全文共分三章。第一章《水浒后传》：明朝遗民的复兴梦想以明末清初的时代背景为依托，通过对相关资料的梳理，从生平经历、布衣身分和相关诗文考察陈忱迥异的遗民心态和理想追求，结合文本，阐释陈忱的遗民痛楚和传承文明的理想。第二章《后水浒传》：乱世文人的英雄挽歌对读原著，分析《后水浒传》对农民起义的反思，并从儒者情结和民族情绪两个方面探讨作者在英雄价值观上的两难选择。第三章《荡寇志》：盛世文人的经世童话从清代中期社会心态的转变、农民起义的复杂性和俞万春的身世经历出发，剔除前人对《荡寇志》纰缪认识。联系经世思潮，分析俞万春在《荡寇志》中所表现的兴复天朝上国的经世理想和他在小说中所表现出的道家思想。更多还原
