微波固体功率放大器技术及在SAR系统中的应用

【摘要】 微波功率放大器在合成孔径雷达(SAR)系统中起着将低功率电平的线性调频信号无失真地放大至系统所要求的功率电平的功能。与单载波或多载波通信系统的功率放大相比,由于合成孔径雷达系统与线性调频信号的特殊性,放大线性调频信号必然会引入一些与SAR系统有关的特有问题。本论文从微波固体功率放大器在SAR系统中应用的角度上,系统、全面、深入地研究了功率放大器的设计中所涉及到的相关技术,包括偏置电路设计技术、稳定性设计技术、匹配网络设计技术、线性化设计技术以及热、电磁兼容和放大器腔体结构设计技术。众所周知,单个微波固体功率放大器输出功率尚不能达到SAR系统发射功率要求,因此,本论文介绍了为满足SAR系统发射功率要求的微波固体功率放大器的功率合成技术。包括有二进制功率合成技术、并馈功率合成技术、串馈功率合成技术以及混合式功率合成技术。验证功率放大器是否达到设计指标,最直接的方式莫过于利用仪表对指标进行逐一测试,因此,论文给出了与SAR系统密切相关的功率放大器的关键技术指标的测试方法。其中包含了脉冲相位线性度的测试、脉冲相位噪声的测试,脉间噪声的测试、载波相位偏差以及热态输出驻波等指标的测试。论文以微波固体功率放大器设计电路的实际为出发点,从电路原理上分析了产生关键技术指标失真的根源,给出了其相关失真函数表达式,定量地分析了各失真量对SAR系统线性调频信号脉冲压缩的影响,并对某些技术参数提出了减小失真的措施或方法。

【Abstract】 The microwave power amplifier plays a role in synthetic aperture radarsystems. It amplifies linear frequency modulation signals from the low power level tothe power level that systems demand. By contrast with single-carrier and multi-carriercommuni-cation systems’ power amplifying, because of particularities of synthetic radarsystems and linear frequency modulation signals, amplifying linear frequencymodulation signals may bring forward some specific problems relating to SARsystems.The dissertation research pertinent technologies of power amplifiers designinginvolved by the numbers, across-the-abroad, in-depth, with an eye to apply to themicrowave solid-state power amplifiers in SAP, systems. It contains biasing circuitsdesigning techniques, stability designing techniques, matching network designingtechniques, the linearization designing techniques and heat, electromagnetism compati-bility as well as amplifiers cavity structure designing techniques.It is well known that, single microwave solid-state power amplifier can not satisfytransmitting power level of SAR systems heretofore. Based on, this dissertationintroduces power combine techniques of microwave solid-state power amplifiers formeeting SAR systems transmitting power level. It covers binary system powercombine techniques, parallel feed-in power combiner techniques, serial feed-in powercombine techniques and mixing power combine techniques.The most direct mode of proving power amplifiers touching target or not istesting indexes one by one by way of instruments and meters measuring. So, thisdissertation put forward testing methods of key techniques indexes of poweramplifiers with respect to SAR systems consanguineous. It includes the testing of pulse phase linearity, pulse phase noise, inter-pulse noise, phase excursion of carrierand heat-state output VSWR.The dissertation analysis roots of leading to key technique indexes distort fromcircuits principles, according as actual designing circuits of microwave solid-statepower amplifiers, at the same time, the distort function expressions are presented.Also analysis effects of pulse compression of SAR systems linear frequencymodulation signals deriving from all distorts indexes quantificationally, and advancemeasures or ways reducing distorts of some indexes.
