基于UG的三维参数化汽车冲模标准件库研究与开发

Research & Development of 3D Parameterized Standard Part Library for Automotive Punching Die Based on Unigraphics CAD Platform

【摘要】 随着CAD技术的发展,模具CAD/CAM的应用已成为保证汽车冲压模具设计和加工质量、提高效率的有效途径。但是,目前基于CAD平台的模具设计通常都是以通用性为原则,更多关注于曲面造型和分模等工作,在进行模具结构设计时,仍沿用基本建模方式,效率低,设计繁琐,致使结构设计成为模具设计的薄弱环节。另一方面,从汽车冲压模具结构设计来看,所涉及的零件多为导套、导柱等已经系列化的标准件,或者是诸如上、下模架等包含相同结构单元的典型件。因此,在通用CAD平台上进行二次开发建立三维参数化汽车冲模标准件库是一条可行之路。 在此背景下,作者对参数化与特征建模基本理论、UG二次开发相关技术以及基于UG的标准件建库方法等进行了深入研究。在用户界面设计以及应用程序设计等方面不断实践,获取了UG二次开发的完整实施方案,同时根据汽车冲模标准件和典型件的结构特点,采用参数化设计及特征建模方法对其进行分析,确定了其参数化特征模型,提出了三维参数化汽车冲模标准件库的总体方案设计,解决了标准件库常用系统结构存在的若干关键技术问题。在此基础上,以Windows操作系统和UG软件为平台,综合运用UG/Open MenuScript、UG/OpenUIStvler、UG/Open API和Visual C++6.0等UG二次开发工具,开发建立了一套完整的三维参数化汽车冲模标准件库。 三维参数化汽车冲模标准件库采用UG/Open API内部(Internal)模式开发,在UG启动时自动加载到UG的运行空间,执行代码小,连接快,界面简捷直观,操作方便,实现了与UG系统的无缝集成,具有良好的人机交互性、可扩充性和可移植性。 使用三维参数化汽车冲模标准件库可以提高汽车冲压模具的设计效率,缩短设计周期,提高汽车冲压模具的设计质量和标准化水平,将模具设计工程师从繁琐的标准件建模造型中解放出来,把更多的时间和精力投入到方案创新上。

【Abstract】 With the development of CAD technology, the application of CAD/CAM for mould has been an effective approach to improve the quality and efficiency of designing and manufacturing for automotive punch die; however, the mould design based on CAD platform generally focous more attention on the problems in common such as curved surface modeling, mould disparting and so on, but the structure designing of mould has become a weak section of mould design because it must be carried out in a basic routine which is complicated and low-efficient. On the other hand, the parts used in designing of automotive punching die are usually serialized standard parts including guide-bush and guide-post etc or typical parts like upper holder or lower holder which have the same structural unit. So it is a feasible way to build parameterized 3D library of standard part for punching die on the generalCAD platform.Under this background, fundamental theorys of parametrization and feature modeling, techniques related to UG re-development, and methods of establishing standard part library based on UG platform were comprehensively researched. The whole scheme to re-develope UG software was gained by repeatedly practising in both user interface development and application programming. Also, according to the structural characteristic of the standard parts and the typical parts, the parameterized feature model of the parts was ascertained. Some key technical problems existing in common system structure of standard part library were solved, and then the general system structure of the library of standard part for automotive punching die was presented. Finally, a set of parameterized 3D library of standard part for automotive punching die was built on UG CAD platform by utilizing UG redevelopment tools: UG/Open API, MenuScript, UIStyler, and Visual C++ 6.0.The library of standard part for automotive punching die can be automatically loaded into UG running space for it was developed by internal mode, and thus its executing code is small, and its link speed is fast. With friendly interface, excellent expansibility and transferability, this standard part library for automotive punching die is easy to use and perfectly integrated with Unigraphics CAD system.Not only can the application of the parameterized 3D standard part library for automotive punching die improve the quality, efficiency, and standardization levelof the aotumotive punching die design and shorten its design periods, but also can liberate designers from complicated modeling, and consequently make it possible that design engineers can invest more time and effort to project innovation.
