【摘要】 计算机科学技术与电子技术的日新月异为地理信息系统的应用带来了无穷的活力。以移动智能终端为载体的移动GIS已成为地理信息系统的一个新的研究领域。本课题综合分析了当前国内外对移动GIS理论及其应用的研究状况，指出移动GIS需要探索的焦点，提出了基于掌上电脑（PDA）群的移动地理信息系统的研制。论文首先从理论的角度，分析了移动GIS的主要特点及相关技术；从系统工程的角度，探讨了移动GIS的系统组成及应用模型；从系统应用实现的角度，提出基于PDA群移动GIS在智能交通系统中的一个应用。文中重点讨论该研发系统的逻辑结构模式、PDA平台下地图数据的空间组织方式和空间分析技术、系统客户端PDA群之间、PDA与PC服务器之间的通信技术以及系统的安全性。为解决当前移动GIS应用系统的通用性问题，本系统提出并实现了跨PDA软硬件平台的设计策略，用Java技术及软构件技术从底层自行设计了图形系统的功能组件，方便了用户进行二次开发，以满足不同专业领域的应用需求。系统经过测试，达到了预期的设计效果。更多还原

【Abstract】 The changes of computer science and electron technology have brought infinite energy to Geographic Information System (GIS). And mobile GIS, which based on mobile intelligent terminal has become a new research field.In this paper, we analyze currently inland and overseas status quo of the theory and the applications of mobile GIS, point out the focus needed to be explored in mobile GIS and then bring forward the research and application of mobile GIS based on Personal Digital Assistant（PDA）. Firstly, from the viewpoint of system theory, we analyze the main characteristics and related techniques of mobile GIS. Secondly, we discuss the system composition and application models from the viewpoint of systems engineering. Then we put forward a practical instance of mobile GIS application based on PDA group in intelligent traffic system.The paper puts emphasis on the system logic structure pattern, spatial organization mode and spatial analysis technique of map data in PDA stage. Other keystones are system security and communication techniques between PDA and PDA, PDA and PC server. In order to solve the currency problem of mobile GIS application system, we bring out a design tactic of mobile GIS with PDA software and hardware platform independent and make it realize For the sake of application requirement in various fields, we design the groupware function of graphic system, which make second development more convenient.
