中学英语教学中非自然输入的有效性研究

【摘要】 本论文旨在探讨中学英语教学中非自然输入训练的有效性。通过理论探索与实证研究,其论证了非自然输入为学习者语言能力的持续发展奠定坚实基础,也论证了其在现代英语教学中不可忽视的一席之地。文章对非自然输入在外语教学中作用的探索进一步说明了其在中国英语课堂教学中的价值。探讨之后,本文提出了在非自然输入训练中几种常见的方法:模仿、朗读和背诵,同时也提供了一些如何避免走入训练误区的注意事项。最后,文章对中学英语教学的启示是:非自然输入在中国英语教学中只要运用恰当不仅有其一席之地且有其价值体现,但最佳方法是将其作为教学中的一种辅助手段有机融入自然输入中去。
【Abstract】 This paper is intended to explore the effectiveness of the non-natural input in English language instruction at secondary level in the Chinese context. By studying some theories that support the non-natural input, reviewing enough literature and presenting experiments, the paper demonstrates that the input helps lay a solid foundation for learners’ further development in language and has a place in today’s English teaching in China. The investigation of its roles in FL instruction further shows the values of the input in Chinese classrooms. In addition to the above arguments, the paper also suggests several practices common in the non-natural input - imitation, reading-aloud and recitation. Meanwhile, the paper offers some techniques to avoid misusing the input. Finally, the paper comes to the conclusion that the non-natural input has its values as well as a place in English language instruction in China, but it will hinder English language learning unless suitably managed. The optimal way the paper implies is to integrate non-natural input as a walking-stick with natural input in English instruction in the Chinese environment.
