在地理新课程教学中开展合作学习的实践与探索

【摘要】 本文主要阐述新课程实施两年来在地理课堂教学中开展合作学习的实践与体会。传统的精英主义教育强调竞争和单干,追求学习成绩卓越,忽视了教学的情意功能,不利于培养学生的合作意识和形成良好的人际关系。地理新课程倡导交互式的学习方式;倡导学生之间为促进学习而进行的各种讨论,要求把自主探究与合作交流作为重要的学习方式。新课程实施两年来,我们采用行动研究法,将合作学习引入地理课堂,探讨合作小组的编排原则、合作学习的课堂实施、合作学习评价以及教师在合作学习中的作用。目的是验证合作学习在地理新课程教学之可行性;评估合作学习培养学生收集地理信息资料,归纳地理信息资料、解决地理问题能力的实施成效,评估合作学习培养学生合作意识与创新能力的实施成效等。从学生在合作学习过程中所写的学后感、地理小论文、编辑的地理小报、制作的多媒体演示文稿、地形模型等来看,学生的学习行为和表现都有了较为明显的变化,学生的合作意识明显增强,同学之间的关系更加和谐融洽。特别是好生在原有的基础上获得了更大的发展,差生也在小组中发挥了一定的作用,获得了自信。学生们对地理课有了重新的认识,学习兴趣也大大增加。学生的学习能力如收集地理信息资料、归纳地理信息资料、解决地理问题能力等都有了较大的提高,动手能力也大大增强了。

【Abstract】 In this article I’d like to discuss the practice and experience of cooperative learning in two years of implementing of the new course in geography teaching.The traditional elitism education that lays special emphasis on competition,working by one-self and excellent school records and neglects the goodwill function of education,doesn’t help to enhance the students’awareness of cooperation or build good interpersonal relationships.Mutuai study method is initiated in the new geography course.The students are encouraged to have all kinds of discussions among themselves so as to advance in their study,and they are also required to take their own study and cooperative exchange as a major study method.By introducing the cooperative learning into the classroom,we have studied for two years its model,its strategies and the role the teacher should play.Our aim is to prove the possibility of cooperative learning in new geography teaching,to evaluate the geography information the students are trained to collect and conclude,and to know how the students’ ability to solve geography problems develops,how their awareness of cooperation increases and how their creating capacity develops.It is clearly shown in their summing up their experience,little academic paper,self-edited tabloid,self-made multimedia show,topographic models that the students have much changed in their behavior towards study and their conduct has become more graceful,too.As they increase thrie cooperation awareness,the students get on much better than ever before.The better students have made more progress on what has already been achieved while the slow students have gained self confidence in giving full play to their skills in the group.Now the students show greater interest in learning geography.For example,their ability to gather information,sum up their experience and solve the problems has greatly improved,and so has their ability to act.
