【摘要】 中国文学批评史是一个古老而又年轻的学科。文学批评的内容古已有之,且以“诗文评”的名目受到古代学者的关注。但具有现代学科意义的“中国文学批评史”研究,却兴起于西方文化涌入中国和中国文化急剧蜕变的二、三十年代。作为研究对象,中国文学批评史研究的是中国古代文学理论批评,因此对于西方来说,它是缺席;但在建构该学科体系的过程中,西方文化、文论的观念、方法又产生了重大影响。从这种意义上来说,它又是在场。本文所要探讨的,就是这一具有现代意义的批评史学科建设中所受的西方影响。 本文把这些观念和方法研究浓缩为一系列最为基本的关键词研究。全文共分为五个部分。第一章描述了中国文学批评史学科建设的文化背景。第二章至第五章分别以“‘文学’的定义”、“文学批评史”、“‘为人生’与‘为艺术’的二元对立”和“文学四要素”为标题。对于这一系列关键词,论文重在追溯它们的来源,梳理它们的传播途径,揭示它们对批评史学科建设的具体影响,以及描述中国文坛之所以接受它们的土壤和环境。

【Abstract】 The history of Chinese literary criticism is a very old subject, but it is also a young one in a sense. The contents of literary criticism are present in ancient times, and they have been the interests of ancient scholars by the expression of ’Commentaries and Markings’. The studies on the history of Chinese literary criticism in modern sense, sprung up in the twentieth to thirtieth of the twenties century when the western culture was entering China in succession and Chinese culture was altering sharply. The object of studying on the history of Chinese literary criticism is the criticism about Chinese ancient literary theory, and therefore it is absent from the western point of view. In the process of constructing the subject, the western culture, the concept of literary theory and the methods have played important roles in it, so it is existent in this sense. The thesis aims to make a deep research into the western influence in the course of the subject’s modernization.According to the author’s understanding, the studies on these ideas and methods are abstracted into keywords studies. The thesis is totally made up of five parts. The first chapter describes the culture background of the subject construction of the history of Chinese literary criticism. From the second to the fifth chapter, the thesis expounds separately ’the definition of the literary\ ’the history of the literary criticism’, ’the dual opposition of Art for life’s sake and Art for art’s sake’, and ’four factors of literary’. As far as a series of the keywords, the thesis chiefly goes back to their origins, and makes their routes of communication clearer, and uncovers their concrete impact on the construction of subject of the history of Chinese literary criticism, and gives the description of the environment in which they were accepted on the circus of literary in China.
