基于PCI总线的ROIC数据采集系统研究

【摘要】 读出电路是非致冷焦平面列阵的重要组成部分,如何准确、迅速地定量测试评价读出电路的性能,对于研制和改进其质量,提高焦平面列阵的整体性能有重要意义。重庆大学光电器件研究室通过多年的研究,在读出电路的设计方面形成了自己的特色,在国内同行业中有一定的地位。本课题所研究的采集系统是读出电路配套部分,该采集系统的初步研制成功将能促进读出电路(ROIC)测试、评价技术的发展,对非致冷焦平面列阵的研制及红外焦平面列阵(IRFPA)成像质量提高起到积极的推动作用。 PCI总线作为一种高性能的局部总线,现在是PC机的主流总线,由32位升级到64位后将在5-8年内维持PC机主流总线的地位。而目前各种数据传输率较低的总线都将被淘汰,各个CPU及主板芯片生产商已经不再专门支持曾经风光一时的ISA总线,ISA总线的信号采集系统也将迅速被市场淘汰。因此,本课题设计基于PCI总线的高速、高精度ROIC信号采集系统。 论文介绍了PCI总线发展和特点,对PCI总线自动配置机制作了阐述。对于PCI总线接口的两种主要实现方法:复杂可编程逻辑器件和专用接口芯片,本课题都展开了大量工作。其中,采用PLXTech公司的PCI专用接口控制芯片PLX9050完成了基于PCI总线的ROIC信号采集系统软、硬设计和调试。针对PLX9050的数据传输速率不理想的问题给出自己的解释,并给出了采用PLX9054实现的改进方案。并且本课题还完成了难度较大的复杂可编程逻辑器件上实现的PCI硬核(CORE)设计,并对该设计进行了部分逻辑时序的仿真和验证。 设备驱动程序的设计是采集系统开发过程中的一个重要环节,是硬件功能正常实现的保证,它不仅与所要设计的硬件设备有关,而且还涉及操作系统的内核。本论文简要描述了Windows 98/2000系统体系结构及WDM模式的设备驱动程序的组成,介绍了设备驱动程序的常用开发工具,然后结合实际课题讨论了PCI设备驱动程序开发、调试,最后简述设备驱动程序的安装。
【Abstract】 As an important device of information acquisition, IRFPA is being applied widely. ROIC is one of the most important portions of IRFPA. It is important for ROIC and IRFPA evaluation to acquire precise data rapidly. That will prompt ROIC development and research.How to collected the ROIC and IRFPA ’s signals in high performance? It is necessary to push out a new system to satisfy its requirement. Fortunately, a new advanced computer local bus (PCI bus) was introduced by Intel Corporation in 1993. PCI bus can transfer data in 132 MB/S, overcome the speed problem of ISA bus. The project is to design an ROIC Signal acquisition system based on PCI bus.In this paper the fundamental theories of ROIC, property of PCI bus are introduced. Focuses on one key techniques of PCI bus: auto Configuration technology. Usually there are two methods to interface to PCI bus, one is by CPLD, and the other is with ASIC chips. The project is designed with PLX 9050 chip and ameliorated with PLX9054. PCI core is designed for CPLD.Device driver is the bridge to hardware and Windows 98/2000. The paper describes Windows98/2000 system structure and the driver’s function, introduces some popular driver development kit, such as DDK, Soft ICE, and WinDriver. Then analyzes the common problem what will meet in PCI device driver development and their solutions. At the last chapter, introduces the applied program including PCI bus access and ROIC signals acquisition.
