【Abstract】 Based on Marxist Principles, this thesis borrows the theories of Journalism, Sociology and Mass Communication to make a systematic study of Social News report in China in recent years. Having defined the concept, it analyzes the Communication features which distinguish Social News from other news. It then analyses the development of factors which contribute to the rapid development of Social News report in recent years, and the major problems existing nowadays in Social News report as well.
