Discovery of the Giant Positive-flower-structure in the Southern Part of Tanlu Fault and It’s Geological Significance
【Abstract】 According to electric and seismic data, Tanlu Fracture Belt is a crushed zone and is 22km wide horizontally. There are great differences in seismic reflective and electric features among Tanlu Fracture Belt, Xiayangzi Block and North China Block, Tanlu Fracture Belt has the obvious demarcation feature. On the cross profile, it presents a positiveflowerstructure, and consists of a main slipstrike fault and several parallel associated faults, in which the main fault plane is vertical and extends down 15 km and still shows no tendency of disappearance and flattening. This is the typical feature of a compression fault.
