【Abstract】 Form the distributions, landforms and topography, the article illustrates a scientific hypothesis that landmasses had come into being on the two terrestrial poles, and are moving extruding towards the equators and floating to the West of the earth reducing themselves. The problem on landmasses’taking shape on the two poles is further discussed on the basis of the theory of substancial shape changes and the existence of an angle of inclination between the earth’s rotation axis and the revolution area. According to the earth’s motion and land’s receiving forces of mechanics the problems are explained in detail,on why landmasses will move extruding to the equator and float to the west of the earth, reducing themselves The article collects many facts tlo prove the hypohesis correct, such as land distributions、topographic features、 masses of separate land and earthquakes mountain systems and plateaus “two banks of continents and seas fitting well”、the trends of rivers、“the landmass bridge”,three to seven - - the proportion of land to oceans, the law of the earth’s days and years becoming fewer. The hypothesis also infers that there are differences of formations、motion and features between land and ocean bottoms . It predicts that the destination of landmasses’motion will be on both sides of the equator.
