【Abstract】 James Huston Edgar(1872-1936),a missionary of China lnland Mission,is an important figure and known as a pioneer missionary in the border of Sichuan during the late Qing Dynasty and Republican China.He published many works and made great achievements in anthropology,geography,archeology and religion,etc.According to the research of this paper,his Chinese name is Ye Chang-qing and his nationality is Australia.He also studies on the kia-Rong(jiarong) Tibetan lived in Chwanpien and the Litholatry religious Belief.更多还原
