【Abstract】 Based on a large number of field data, the paper has analyzed the flood level and bed level variation at the middle and lower stream of the Yangtze River in recent 50 years. It has been found that there is close relation between the river variation and the going-up and keeping-longtime phenomenon of flood water level.
