【Abstract】 The discovery of Bastielek-Kezlgain scheelite deposit is the first time in Altai area of Xinjiang, filling the gap of prospecting for tungsten deposits in the southern margin of Altai Mountains. It also confirms that the Mongolian tungstentin polymetallic metallogenic belt extends westward into China. This discovery is about the prospecting and metallogenic regularity of tungsten deposits in southern Altai Mountains.
