基于VRML的虚拟配色换装系统在室内设计教学中的应用研究

【摘要】 现代学习理论认为人的知识离不开情境,它是在一定的情境中产生并发展的。虚拟现实技术作为前景发展最好的新技术之一被广泛地应用于各种领域,尤其是教育领域。虚拟现实技术的沉浸性、交互性、想象性等特性使其作为一种新型的教学媒体技术而受到广大教育工作者的关注和青睐。本文在大量阅读国内外文献和充分调研的基础上,以情境认知理论、“经验之塔”理论、建构主义理论等现代学习理论为理论基础,以虚拟现实技术中的VRML技术和三维建模技术为技术支持,在调查分析了室内设计教学现状和存在问题的前提下,结合虚拟现实技术的特点和实现方法,指出了虚拟现实技术应用于室内设计教学的优势,针对室内设计专业师生的需求,将虚拟现实技术和室内设计课程进行整合,开发了一套虚拟配色换装系统,并将其应用到室内设计专业课程教学当中。从理论和实践两方面完成了对虚拟现实技术在室内设计教学中应用的初步尝试和探索。通过调查研究,基于VRML的虚拟配色换装系统在室内设计教学中的应用是切实可行并且行之有效的,它提高了学生的学习积极性和学习兴趣;弥补了传统教学媒体的不足,有利于培养学生的形象思维能力和空间想象力;有助于培养学生自主协作的学习能力;有效地提高了教学效果,促进了学生的学习。此项研究对于室内设计教学改革和虚拟现实技术在教育领域的应用都有着非常重要的意义。

【Abstract】 Modern learning theory thinks that the human knowledge comes out and develops in some kind of situations. As the one of best new technologies virtual reality technology(VRT)is widely used in various fields, especially in the education field. The immersion、interactivity、imagination of VRT receives the focus and attention from a great number of workers on education as a new teaching media technology.Based on plenty of reference books at home and abroad and research making, this paper points out the advantages of VRT applied in interior design teaching by laying the foundation on situational cognitive theory,‘experience of the tower’theory and constructivism, depending on VRML of VRT and Three-dimensional modeling techniques as its technological support, and investigating and analyzing the current situation and existing problems of interior design teaching with the combination of the features and implementation of VRT. With an integrity of VRT and interior design curriculum, a virtual facelift VRML—based system was developed and employed in the interior design teaching which aims at meeting the needs of professional staff and students. Therefore, the result has finished a preliminary try and exploration on the application of VRT into interior design teaching, theoretically and practically.The research shows that it is feasible and effective to apply the virtual facelift VRML—based system into interior design teaching which strengthens the students’ interest and enthusiasm on learning and makes up the disadvantages of the traditional teaching media, does a great help to foster students’imagination and self-collaborative learning ability, increase the effectiveness of teaching and promote their study. Therefore, the research plans a significant part in interior design teaching reform and VRT with application into the educational domain.
