国家形象的建构与传播

【摘要】 20世纪末期以来,在全球化发展的大背景下,作为国际关系的主体,国家的发展战略,特别是全球战略的实现与否,与国家在国际社会中的形象的关系越来越密切,国家形象的战略地位被凸显出来。国家间的博弈不仅仅是经济、军事、政治力量的较量,国家形象也是一个举足轻重的变量。一个国家形象的好坏,对内关系到国家内部的民族团结、国民凝聚力和自信心;对外则关系到一个国家在国际社会中能否以最小的代价取得最大的政治、经济利益,实现自己的短期和长期目标。国家形象影响到一个国家在国际社会中的政治地位、经济参与程度以及凭借自身实力在国际舞台上纵横裨阖的能力。因此,塑造良好的国家形象对一个国家来说,有着非比寻常的意义。四年一届的夏季奥林匹克运动是当今全球规模最为宏大的体育盛会,经过百年的发展,奥运会的意义早已超出了体育运动本身,历史的经验表明奥运会已经成为举办国塑造和提升本国形象的契机和舞台。2008年奥运会在北京举行,为中国提供了一个千载难逢的展示自我、塑造形象的平台,而奥运的成功举办则提升了中国的国家形象。本文从传播学的角度探讨了奥运会在塑造提升中国国家形象所起的作用,介绍和梳理了国家形象的概念,旨在通过2008北京奥运背景下中国对外的形象自塑,结合外国媒体对中国国家形象的建构,来说明怎样在将来更好地传播我国国家形象。

【Abstract】 Since the late 20th century, in the context of globalization and development, National development strategies, especially the National global strategy, as the principal part of the international relations,becoming closer and closer with the national image in the international community. In this case, the strategic of national image was Prominent. Inter-State game is not only about economic military or political power contest, but also about national image. The quality of a country’s image is about internal national unity, national cohesion, self-confidence and if the country could active maximum political and economic interests with minimum cost and get their short-and long-term goals. Country’s image impact it’s international community’s political status,economic participation and the influence in international games. That is why building a excellent image has extraordinary significance to a country.The summer Olympic Games which is held every four years is the most magnificence sports meeting in the world. After a hundred year’s development, its significance has already gone beyond sports. History has proved that the Olympic Games has already become a great opportunity and stage for host country to mold and promote its national image. The 2008 Olympic Games was held in Beijing and has provided a chance of lifetime for China to exhibit itself and mold national image on its stage and the successful holding of Beijing Olympic Games has greatly promoted China’s National image.This article discusses the role of the Olympic Games in the process of molding and promoting a nation’s image through the perspective of international Communications.
