IP网络测量仪以太网线缆测试方法研究与实现

【摘要】 近年来,互联网的应用日益普及,人们对网络性能的要求也越来越高,因而对网络性能测量的研究变得越来越重要。网络运营商和使用者都迫切需要一款仪表来监视网络状况、定位网络故障。论文首先详细叙述了基于分布式网络测量架构的嵌入式网络性能测量探针的硬件平台的设计。其次,详细论述了搭建探针底层软件平台的方法,开发了探针专用的引导程序、嵌入式Linux操作系统及其相关的文件系统。第三,对探针的线缆测试模块进行了设计,重点研究了基于时域反射法测量线缆故障点的技术。第四,在分析电磁波在传输线中的传播的基础上,提出了发送宽脉冲以提高发送能量的方法,实现了线缆故障测量功能模块,测量结果验证方法可行。最后,总结全文并提出值得进一步研究的问题。

【Abstract】 In recent years, with the popularity of Internet growing quickly, the requirement on the quality of network has been becoming more and more rigorous. So, it is more and more important to research on the performance measurement of Internet. Internet services provider and the users urgently need a measurement device to monitor the network status and locate the position of network fault.Firstly, the design of the hardware platform of the embedded probe based on the DNMAI is described in detail. Secondly, the method to build basic probe software platform is given, with which a special bootloader, the embedded Linux operating system and cramfs file system are developed. Thirdly, the cable test module of the probe is designed, with the emphasis on the technology of detecting the location of the fault point in the network cable based on TDR(Time Domain Reflectometry). Fourthly, based on the analysis of transmission line theory and characteristics of the electromagnetic wave in the twisted line, a method is proposed with which a wider pulse with more energy is sent to the end, and the cable fault location module is implemented. The test results show the method is available. Finally, the whole paper is summarized and some problems that worth considering are pointed out.
