我国女子学院办学特色研究

A Study on School-running Characteristics of Chinese Female College

【摘要】 女子教育在中国源远流长,女子院校在促进女子教育发展、促进男女平等和社会进步等方面有着不容忽视的作用。上个世纪80年代中期至今的二十几年间,中断了几十年的女子院校在中国大地再次出现,现今的女子院校与过去的女子院校不同,面临着一个全新的、变化的社会环境。目前,中国女子高等院校不仅数量很少,而且绝大多数是近十年来新建和转制而来的,这些稚嫩的女子院校,要在严峻的竞争中求得生存和发展,就要找出她们的办学特色,如果没有特色,就没有生命力、没有生存权。通过对女子学院办学特色的研究,可以更深入的看清我国女子高等院校存在的缺点和优点,从而更好的促进女子教育的发展,同时对混合学院女性学生的培养具有一定的借鉴作用。论文主要以我国女子学院为研究对象,以其办学特色为主要研究问题,采用文献分析法、问卷法、访谈法、交叉表分析法、比较研究的方法,结合相关理论,对我国女子高等院校的发展历程及其办学特色进行概括、揭示和论证,以期弥补中国女子高等院校研究领域的经验和理论总结有余而分析论证不足的现状。研究发现,女子学院在女性人才的培养上具有特别的引导力,在现今多元化的社会中,不同个性的女性对教育有不同的需求,女院的创办可以满足她们的需求,在对混合学院女生的培养上也具有一定的借鉴意义,所以适当发展女子学院是必要的,但女子学院要想在高等教育发展的大潮中站稳脚跟,还有很多工作要做。论文共分为五个部分。首先,导论部分,主要对论文的研究背景、研究现状、研究方法与思路等进行介绍;然后,对我国女子高等院校的历史与现状进行梳理,并将其划分为五个历史阶段;接着,介绍美国女子高等院校发展的历史沿革,从其发展的历史轨迹中审视我国女子学院,对我国现今女子学院的发展有一定的借鉴意义;进而,将我国女子学院和混合学院办学特色进行比较分析,选取了三所女子学院的500名在校学生和三所混合学院的250名在校女生进行了问卷调查,采用SPSS统计软件中的交叉表分析法对不同类型学院的办学特色进行比较研究,从而发现我国女子高等院校办学特色的优缺点;最后,对我国女子学院发展的思考,根据前文提出和分析我国女子学院办学特色的优缺点,针对问题提出改进建议和对策。

【Abstract】 Female education in China dates back to ancient times and the functions of female colleges can not be ignored, such as to promote the development of female education, to facilitate the equality between men and women, to accelerate the social progress and so on. Since the middle of 1980s until now, between these years, Chinese female colleges which suspended for several decades go back to China again. Today, female colleges are different from the previous ones which face a new and changing social environment. At present, the Chinese female college not only has a small quantity but also the vast majority of them are new and transformed from other systems. In order to survive in the severe competition, it is necessary for these tender female colleges to identify their school-running characteristics. If there is no characteristic, there is no vitality and right to exist. Through the study on school-running characteristics of Chinese female college, their disadvantages and advantages can be more in-depth studied. Then let it better promote the development of female education and at the same time it is useful to the cultivation of female students in coeducational college.The thesis’ main research object is Chinese female college and the main research question is the school-running characteristics of it. By using the methods of literature analysis, questionnaires, interviews, cross-table analysis, comparison and analysis, the dissertation combines with relevant theories to summarize, reveal and demonstrate the developing process of Chinese female colleges and the school-running characteristics of them, with a view to make up for the research status quo of Chinese female college which has superabundant experiential and theoretical summary but insufficient analysis and demonstration. The study finds that the female college has a special function to the training of female talents and it is useful for the cultivation of female students in coeducational colleges. But if the female college wants to gain a firm foothold in the development of higher education it still has a lot of things to be done. The author considers that in today’s pluralistic society different women have different needs to the education. So the proper development of female college is necessary.The thesis is divided into five parts. First of all, the introduction of it, this part focuses on the research background, research status, research methods, research ideas, etc. Secondly, it introduces the history and present situation of Chinese female college and divides it into five stages. Thirdly, it introduces the historical evolution of American female colleges and at the same time the Chinese female college could learn a lot from the development of it. Fourthly, the comparison and analysis of the school-running characteristics between female colleges and coeducational colleges, this part selected 500 students of three female colleges and 250 female students of three coeducational colleges to carry out the survey and used the method of cross-table analysis of SPSS statistical software, and then finds out the advantages and disadvantages of the school-running characteristics of Chinese female colleges. In the end, to consider the development of Chinese female college, this part based on the former analysis proposes and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of school-running characteristics of female colleges and puts forward the proposals and measures aiming at the problems.
