吉比特无源光网络用光模块的研究

【摘要】 随着经济与信息化技术的发展,信息与数据的流通量日益增大。高速的通信传输手段及接入网技术成为全球通信运营商及通信设备制造商的关注热点,也是当今世界的技术发展前沿话题。无源光网络(PON,Passive Optical Network)技术作为一种高速高效的通信手段应运而生,其中吉比特无源光网络(GPON,Gigabit Passive Optiacal Network)技术更凭借其高带宽、全业务接入和强大的运行维护管理能力成为各国光网络建设的首选。吉比特无源光网络单元(GPON ONU,Gigabit Passive Optical Network Unit)光模块作为光纤接入网中的用户终端设备的核心器件,其性能的优劣决定了整个通信系统的工作稳定性。本文针对GPON ONU光模块展开研究,主要内容包括GPON ONU光模块的发射端设计、ONU光模块的接收端设计及数字诊断监测功能研究等。在GPON ONU光模块发射端方面,进行了激光器驱动电路、光功率开环与闭环控制方式的分析,着重论述了两个重要参数—光功率与消光比的温度补偿方式,并对此提出了全新的温补算法。在GPON ONU光模块接收端方面,重点进行了APD反向偏压供给电路的优化、均衡器电路的设计及调试、以及接收信号强度监测电路的设计及调试。在数字诊断监测功能的研究方面,实现了光模块各项参数的监测与诊断。本论文的研究工作不仅使GPON ONU光模块在高低温时性能指标的不稳定性得到大大的改善,还可以使GPON ONU光模块的制造成本大幅降低,为光纤到户网络的建设与发展打下了很好的基础。

【Abstract】 With the development of economy and information technology,the transmission amount of information and data is getting larger increasingly. High-speed communication methods and optical access network technologies become attentional points,and they are advanced technological topics in the world. Passive Optical Network appears as a high-speed and high-efficiency transmission means,among which Gigabit Passive Optical Network technology is becoming the first choice in many countries by its high bandwidth,full services access and strong OAM capability.GPON ONU optical module is the core of user end device in fiber access network. Its performance decides performance stability of the whole system. This dissertation will spread research of GPON ONU optical module, whose discussed contents mainly include transmitter design and receiver design of ONU optical midule and digital diagnosis monitor function.For transmitter of GPON ONU optical module,analyse laser diode driving circuit, open-loop and close-loop APC. Dissertate two important parameters– Optical Power and Eextinct Ratio’s temperature compensation methods mainly,and present a new temperature compensation algorithm. For receiver of GPON ONU optical modules,optimize APD bais voltage circuit,design and debug equalizer circuit and receiveing signal strength inspect circuit. For the research of digital diagnosis monitor function,achieve monitoring and diagnosising of each parameter of optical module.This dissertation’s research not only greatly improves performance’s unstability under high and low temperature, but also consumedly reduces the manufacture cost of GPON ONU optical module. It will make a good foundation for fiber to the home network development.
