【Abstract】 After Second World War, many distinguished Jewish writers began to come to the stage, and from that time, American Jewish literature started to play an important role in American literature. But through comparison, we found that there was big difference in what they wrote about ,for example , in the works written by Malamud , Singer , as well as Saul Bellow , Jewish identity was emphasized , and the lives of Jewish was described , but in the works of Fillip Roth, Jewish traditions were criticized ,by strong contrast , in the works of Joseph Heller, J.D. Salinger, Arthur Miller as well as Allen Ginsberg, Jewish identity was not mentioned , and instead of Jewish lives , they paid more attention to the people in general and social conditions after World War Two . From this comparison, we can detect the trend of American Jewish literature, that is, Jewish factors in the literary works of Jewish writers are embodied less and less, the writers pay more attention to the people in general not just limited to jews. This trend reflects the cultural changes which is inevitable when two cultures interact with each other.
