基于DM6446的有线接收高清电视机顶盒的硬件平台设计与实现

【摘要】 达芬奇技术改变了传统数字视频应用的开发模式,它为开发人员提供了实现数字视频应用所需的全部工具,包括媒体处理器、开发工具、操作系统软件、媒体处理算法软件和相关的技术支持。特别是其提供的针对达芬奇处理器优化的、产品级质量的多媒体处理算法软件使开发人员能够摆脱数字视频的具体技术细节,将全部精力投入到开发可最大化附加值的产品上来,充分发挥开发人员的想象力和创造力。基于达芬奇处理器DM6446实现的有线接收高清电视机顶盒比采用专用芯片方案实现的机顶盒具有通用性强、可在线升级软件、兼容多种媒体标准等优势。本系统可通过软件实现MPEG2高清视频解码,解复用,MPEG2、MPEG4、H.264标清视频解码,AAC、MPEG2音频解码和H.264标清视频编码。本论文完成了整个有线接收高清电视机顶盒的硬件平台设计与实现,包括DDR2存储器、硬盘接口、EMIF接口、TS流捕获、高清视频模拟分量输出、数字DVI输出等模块。原理图采用Protel 99SE软件设计,系统PCB板采用PADS 2005软件设计,由于整个系统相当复杂,部分电路接口运行速度较高,其中涉及到了高速PCB设计的相关理论知识和技巧。除系统硬件电路的设计与实现外,为了用软件对整个系统进行调试,本人在阅读大量技术文档和应用手册的基础上编写了系统所有关键模块的驱动程序,并搭建了嵌入式Linux操作系统的开发环境。论文还对系统设计过程中的要点和出现的问题进行了总结,并对硬件平台的进一步改进提出了建议。

【Abstract】 Davinci technology has been changing the way to develop digital video application, it provides all tools needed by engineers, including processor, development tools, open system, multimedia codec software and project support. Especially, Davinci technology enables developers to step beyond the specific and technical details of digital video, no longer must a developer be aware of the details. So the developers can focus their development efforts where they can add the most value and creat a whole new level of innovation.The Cable HDTV Set-Top-Box based on DM6446 can decode many different multimedia formats, it is more flexible than the HDTV STB design by ASICs. Our system can realize MPEG2 HD video decoding, demuliplexing, MPEG2、MPEG4、H.264 SD video decoding, AAC、MPEG2 audio decoding and H.264 SD video decoding. They are all realized by software.This dissertation finish the design and implementation of the HD Set-Top-Box hardware platform, including DDR2 memory, ATA harddisk, EMIF, TS capture, VPBE, HDTV display, DVI transmit and so on. Schematic is design by using Protel 99SE software and the PCB is design by using PADS2005 software. Some knowledgement and technique about high speed PCB design is used in this system, because the hardware platform is complex. Besides the hardware, I also program much driver software for debugging, and build an environment for embeded Linux development. In the last of the dissertation, I propose some way to upgrade the hardware platform of the system.
