【摘要】 “新时期最鲜明的特点是改革开放,新时期最显著的成就是快速发展,新时期最突出的标志是与时俱进”1。这既是对于新时期改革开放经验的精辟总结,更是对于未来改革开放事业的要求,为改革开放指明了前进的方向。我国公安机关是人民民主专政的重要工具,是武装性质的国家治安行政力量,它担负着维护国家政治稳定和安定社会,保障社会主义经济建设顺利进行的神圣职责。在改革开放不断深入,经济政治文化社会快速发展,理论和实践不断创新的社会主义新时期,党中央提出全面落实科学发展观、构建和谐社会和全面建设小康社会的宏伟目标对公安机关提出了严峻挑战。公安思想政治工作方法是公安政工部门为实现一定的目的所采用的手段和方式,既具有思想政治工作方法的普遍性,又因其特定的研究对象而具有特殊性,它的生命力和灵魂在于不断创新和发展。“创新是一个民族进步的灵魂,是一个国家兴旺发达的不竭动力,也是一个政党永葆生机的源泉。”2而“在实践基础上的理论创新是社会发展和变革的先导。……创新就要不断解放思想、实事求是、与时俱进。实践没有止境,创新也没有止境。”3随着时代主题、社会环境与实践活动的变化,民警的思想观念、行为方式也发生着深刻的改变,也迫切需要公安思想政治工作方法在继承的基础上坚持方法的不断发展和创新,这样才能适应新情况、解决新问题。文章从介绍选题的提出及意义入手,探讨了新时期公安思想政治工作方法创新的理论基础和新时期公安思想政治工作方法创新的实践需求,论述了新时期公安思想政治工作方法的作用和原则,最后以新时期公安思想政治工作方法创新的主要内容为最终目的和落脚点,力争对做好新时期公安思想政治工作起到一定的理论和实践指导。更多还原
