【摘要】 狮形雕塑的文化由来,中西方有所不同。中国传统狮形雕塑的文化含义及社会功能涉及各朝各代的宗教、政治和民间生活,造型以意传神,材料选择比较丰富。西方传统狮形雕塑以高度写实为特征,大多服务于建筑,装饰性功能较强,材质选择以石材和金属为主。中西方狮形雕塑研究主要包括其文化含义、功能、形式和材料。狮形雕塑在公共艺术中的应用现状显示为:在中国,盲目西化与错位的狮形雕塑泛滥,中国传统狮形造型与文化面临缺失和边缘化;在西方世界,传统狮形雕塑依然占据重要地位,同时,在公共艺术创作中,艺术家们大胆重构与演化了新生造型与文化内涵,并不断扩大其应用领域。中西方狮形雕塑文化应被作为当代公共艺术的重要创作资源,同时需要保持对传统文化的扬弃。本文首先对中西方传统狮形雕塑的文化背景和造型特点进行了分析与介绍,明确中西方传统狮形雕塑的历史渊源及其所代表的社会精神和艺术精神,并对各类狮形雕塑的制作工艺和手法进行归纳。结合当前公共艺术创作领域中对狮形雕塑文化多方面传承和重构的应用现状,文章提出了狮形雕塑在公共艺术领域的新功能、新形式和新内涵,并通过3个设计实践方案的探索进一步明确了文章的观点。更多还原
