构建大型CDN网络的关键技术研究

【摘要】 近年来宽带业务持续高速发展,为了减少大量并发重复业务对网络的冲击,CDN流媒体传送业务随机产生。为此,包括中国电信在内的运营商均希望依托自身的网络资源优势,构建自主的CDN网络,从而在减少无限制的增加互联网传送带宽增加的同时,保证流媒体等大流量业务的传送质量。近期,中国电信计划在原建设的CDN网络平台基础上设计一个新的CDN网络架构,构建一个覆盖全国的流媒体传送平台。本论文的研究首先从介绍流媒体技术入手,重点介绍了CDN技术及其在中国与国外的发展情况,描述了CDN网络与传统互联网络的关系。并从现有的运营商CDN网络架构入手,提出了中国电信现有CDN网络的存在的问题及解决方案:本文首先剖析了骨干CDN网络与省CDN网络的现存关系,引入了对等互通的过渡解决办法;其次,针对全国大型CDN网络的特点,选择了共享存储方式,并在全国范围内设计部署了三个业务中心节点,并根据其存储的应用类型进行划分,实现其文件级的存储共享;同时,本论文对CDN全局负载均衡也进行了阐述与研究,分析并比较了基于DNS解析的GSLB与基于应用层重定向的GSLB之间的不同,引入了辅助设备GRM(全局路由管理)从而帮助GSLB完成基于策略的路由控制。基于上述的几个关键问题研究成果,本论文最后阐述了大型CDN网络的不同业务流程的实现过程,从而确保业务流在内容注入、内容分发、用户服务等各个环节的顺利开展。本论文为现有运营商CDN网络改造提出了良好的过渡方案与优化方案,对中国电信CDN网络架构的优化和提升具有实际意义和应用价值,本论文的研究成果同样也适用于电信行业中的其他CDN网络,对整体CDN网络系统的优化提供借鉴和参考。
【Abstract】 CDN technology appeared in order to alleviate the big pressure to Internet brought by the mass alike internet services which have been mounting on the broad-band services in recent years. Many service providers, including China Telecom, are planning to construct the CDN network base on their own resource, not only saving the network resources but also giving a high quality of service at the same time. Nowadays, China Telecom is designing a new CDN network base on the old one, and the new streaming media network will expand to nationwide.This dissertation will commence from the streaming media technology, specially introduce the CDN technology and its development in China and foreign country, and describe the connection between CDN and traditional network. Basing on the current CDN network structure, this paper proposes the problems of the CDN network in China telecom and gives the solutions. Firstly, the connection between CDN backbone and province network is analyzed, and a new coordinate structure is proposed, secondly, considering the feature of huge network, three national centers are designed for management, depends on the different types, the traffic is separated for the storage and sharing in the three centers. In the paper writer also discusses the local-balance technology, analyzes and compares the difference between the two kinds of GSLB technology, one is based on DNS, another is based on location in the application layer, introduces the GRM (Global Routing Management) to help the GSLB that realize the tactics route control. Basing on the above, the writer describes the main service procedures in a huge CDN network at the end of the paper, make sure all kinds of process can operate in content pouring, content delivery, customer’s service and so on.This paper provides the existing operator a constructive solution for its CDN network transformation and optimization. It has practice implication and applied value for the network performance improvement for China telecom CDN frame network. The research output of this paper also applies to other CDN networks of the telecom sector. It provides the references for the CDN network optimization.
