虚拟参考实时咨询系统分析设计及核心模块实现

【摘要】 北京邮电大学(北邮)在“十五”“211工程”建设期间,自主研发了一套具有北邮特色的数字图书馆集成服务系统。该系统包括虚拟参考咨询、信息门户、统一资源检索、数字资源管理、学位论文提交和网络信息采集等六个子系统,各个子系统在数据、功能、管理、系统等层面上有效地实现集成和链接。其中虚拟参考咨询系统包括实时咨询和非实时咨询部分,前者当时仅提供文字交流功能,不能满足读者需求。为此,本文在充分调研国内外虚拟参考咨询系统发展现状的基础上,结合系统需求分析,设计了一套功能完整的虚拟参考实时咨询系统,并分别阐述了各个模块功能和技术思想。考虑到音视频咨询是虚拟化的面对面咨询,是网络实时咨询的关键,作者基于JMF(Java Media Framework)和RTP技术,实现了具有音视频咨询、音视频在线录制以及音视频在线播放应用功能的音视频模块。为达到网络参考咨询零拒绝率的目标,作者基于手动调度策略和Java技术,实现了调度模块。上述模块均具有跨平台、B/S架构、多点交流的特点。最后,作者对系统的整个开发过程进行了总结,并展望了虚拟参考实时咨询系统的发展趋势。

【Abstract】 During the period of the 10th five-year plan of 211 Project, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) developed independently a service system of a digital library with BUPT characteristics, which includes six sub-systems, such as Virtual Reference Consultant System (VRCS)、Information Portal、Unification Resource Retrieving、Digital Resource Management、Dissertation Submission and Network Information Collecting, and these six sub-systems are integrated with each other. Virtual Reference Consultant System is divided into two parts, real-time Consultant and non real-time Consultant. The contemporary VRCS of BUPT only had the text communication module in the real-time part, the real-time function is very simple, so it can’t suit the consulter’s requirement. So according the practical requirement of the real-time of VRCS and referencing the VRCS of the world, writer designed one VRCS which has the complete function, and expanded the function and technique of every module. Audio and video communication is the virtual face to face consult, and it is the key point for implementing the real real-time consult system, so writer implemented the audio and video consult module which contains real audio and video communication function、audio and video record function、audio and video presentation function, mainly using the technology of Java media framework (JMF) and RTP. For reaching the zero rejecting rate of VRCS, basing the hand dispatch strategy and Java technology, this paper implemented the dispatch module, solved the problem of consulter dispatch, and realized the collaborative reference consult further. The implemented modules above all have the cross-platform, B/S framework and multi-point communication characteristics.Finally, writer concludes the whole developing procedure, and expand on the future developing tendency of VRCS.
