新加坡在华直接投资对双边产业内贸易影响研究

【摘要】 随着世界经济自由化和全球化趋势的日益加强,国际贸易与国际直接投资相融趋势日渐明显,成为推动世界经济的两条重要纽带。中国与新加坡的经济联系日趋紧密,新加坡对华直接投资呈现增长态势,而两国之间的部分制成品贸易表现出产业内贸易的特征。因此,本文的主要目的在于探讨新加坡在华直接投资对双边产业内贸易的影响,并在此基础上提出相关的政策建议。首先,本文介绍了国际直接投资与国际贸易关系的理论,以及产业内贸易相关理论,并且从国际直接投资对产业内贸易影响的机理出发,分别按照FDI的动机和FDI的母国与东道国分工层次,对不同类型国际直接投资的产业内贸易效应进行分析,为后面的研究奠定理论基础。其次,借助现有统计数据,本文概述了新加坡对华直接投资和双边产业内贸易的现状,重点利用计量模型分析国际直接投资与产业内贸易的相关性,论证了新加坡企业对华直接投资与双边产业内贸易存在着正相关关系,揭示出三个主要的结论:中国与新加坡产业内贸易指数较高,垂直型产业内贸易占主导地位;新加坡在中国的直接投资诱发并扩大双边的产业内贸易;垂直一体化直接投资是现阶段中国与新加坡产业内贸易发展的重要动力。最后,在上述研究的基础上提出中国更好地吸引和利用外商投资,提高产业内贸易水平的政策建议。
【Abstract】 With the liberalization of the world economy and the increasing trend of globalization, integration of trade and investment trends increasingly obvious. FDI and international trade constitute the world’s two important economic ties. The economic relationship between China and Singapore becomes more and more tight. There is an increasing trend on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) from Singapore to China. Meanwhile, bilateral trade of some manufacturing products is Intra-Industry Trade (IIT). Therefore, the main purpose of this dissertation is to discuss the relationship between FDI from Singapore to China and bilateral IIT, and give some advices subsequently.This thesis is from impact of the mechanism of FDI, through the analysis of Singapore’s direct investment in China and the status of intra-industry trade, especially the characteristics of related industries, making use of the econometric model for empirical analysis of the relation of FDI and intra-industry trade. The thesis reveals three main conclusions: firstly the index of intra-industry trade between China and Singapore is high; secondly Singapore’s direct investment in China induces and expands intra-industry; thirdly the vertically integrated direct investment is the major driving forces of intra-industry between China and Singapore. Based on the above study, the last part of this paper shows some feasible suggestions on how to attract and use of foreign investment, promote intra-industry trade and the level of economic development.
