高中英语教师应用任务型教学的问题与对策研究

【摘要】 任务型教学是20世纪80年代以来外语教学研究者和第二语言习得研究者在大量研究和实践的基础上提出的一种把语言运用的基本理念转化为具有实践意义的课堂教学方式。它倡导以任务组织教学,在任务的履行过程中,以参与、体验、互动、交流、合作的学习方式,充分发挥学习者自身的认知能力,调动他们已有的目的语资源,在实践中感知、认识、应用目的语,在“干”中学,“用”中学,体现了较为先进的教学理念,是一种值得推广的有效的外语教学方法。自2001年教育部在《新课标》中明确提出“任务型”教学途径的教学建议以来,近几年来,全国上下掀起一股任务型教学研究的热潮。但我们应该看到,任务型教学主要是在国外第二语言教学的背景下产生和发展起来的,而在我国外语学习的背景下,要将其应用于缺乏目的语环境下的外语教学就必须对其进行批判性的继承。基于此,本研究主要通过运用课堂观察、访谈和案例分析法,以高中英语教师应用任务型教学的现状为研究起点,从任务型教学设计的视角,对当前高中教师应用任务型教学存在的问题进行归纳分析,并在此基础上提出对策与思考建议。全文分为四大部分:第一部分,导论。阐述了研究的缘起、研究思路与方法。第二部分,高中英语教师应用任务型教学的调查研究。这部分通过运用课堂观察、访谈和案例分析法对高中英语教师应用任务型教学现状进行了调查。第三部分,高中英语教师应用任务型教学存在的问题及成因分析。该部分分析了当前教师应用任务型教学存在的主要问题,即任务型教学设计这一问题,如任务设计脱离实际,任务设计的难度把握不当,任务活动单一等问题。同时,还分别从教育期刊和课堂观察上各选取一个代表性的教学案例进行分析,并提供一个教学范例作为教师应用任务型教学的参考。针对以上问题,分析问题产生的原因。第四部分,高中英语教师应用任务型教学的思考与建议。基于教师应用任务型教学存在的问题,在此基础上提出相应的对策与思考建议。

【Abstract】 Task-based Language Teaching, a teaching method of communication approaches, was developed in 1980s. It is based on the research of foreign language researcher and the second language researchers. It initiates that students should put what they have learned in to practical use. As it focuses on learning by doing, it emphasizes that teacher’s teaching process should be based on students’ interests, experiences and knowledge level. It can stimulate learner’s motives and encourage them to use what they learn in class and eventually master the target languages. TBLT is a meaning-focused teaching method, aiming at fulfilling language communicative tasks. The research on the task-based Language Teaching is getting more and more popular, especially the new teaching curricular and standard is put into practice.However, TBLT was originally developed in the background of TESL, but in our TEFL background, we should treat it seriously. Based on the theory, the author uses synthetically classroom observation, literature analysis, etc and starts to analysis the teaching methods in the senior high school English teaching, according to the current trends in educational reform. Form the status of investigations and research, the author finds out a series of problems in the teaching of senior high school, especially the design of the tasks. Then the lead to the observations and finally the author put some commendations to solve the problem.The thesis is mainly made up of four chapters. Chapter 1 is a general description of the essay, which consists the origin and the methods of the essay. Chapter 2 is a investigation of the TBLT. In this part, the author uses many ways to investigate the current state of TBLT, such as synthetically classroom observation, literature analysis etc. Chapter 3 analysis the main issues of TBLT and its causes. This part surrounds the design of tasks, such as the tasks which designed far away from reality, and also provides two representative teaching cases to reference. The one is form magazine and the other is from author’s classroom observation. Based on this analysis, the author analyzed the main causes. Chapter 4 is some suggestions of how to use TBLT effectively. Based on the current issues, the author puts forward some suggestions.
