Establishment of Integrated Information Management Platform for BFU School of Foreign Languages

【摘要】 本文调研了国内外高校网络管理的现状和发展趋势,针对高校综合信息管理平台重硬件轻软件的问题以及各系、部门之间以及校际难以实现信息交换、共享等问题,提出了建设一个功能完备、技术先进、具有很好的实用性和安全性系统,它主要完成对高校日常的教学、教务、教师以及学生的信息化的管理。所研建的北京林业大学外语学院综合信息管理平台管理内容广泛,可以概括为“教学应用”、“管理应用”和“网络应用”三个方面,全面涉及了教学和办公上的各项服务,在开发过程中,注意使其符合操作的业务流程,力求系统的全面性、通用性,遵循系统调查研究、系统分析、系统设计和系统实施四个主要阶段进行设计。本研究所开发的综合信息管理平台能使学院教职员工减轻工作压力,比较系统地对教务、教学上的各项服务和信息进行管理,同时,可以减少劳动力的使用,加快查询速度、加强管理,促进学院信息化建设的步伐,使各项管理更加规范化。改革了传统教学和传统考试方法中的弊端,极大地减轻了一线教师的工作量,提高了学生的学习兴趣和学习效率。

【Abstract】 This article is engaged in massive research into the current status and development trends of domestic and international college network management. It aims to solve the problems like that some college integrated information management platforms value hardware more than software; that it is hard to exchange and share information among departments, schools and colleges. Then the article proposes to construct a system which has comprehensive functions, advanced technology, good usability and high security. Its main task is to carry out information management of college daily teaching, education administration, and teacher and student data. The Integrated Information Management Platform for Beijing Forestry University (BFU) School of Foreign Languages developed in this article is capable of wide application, including Teaching Application, Management Application and Network Application. It offers various services demanded in education and office mangement. The platform is aimed to be versatile and all-round so as to fit in with the operating process. What’s more, the designing accords with the four main stages of research, analysis, design and practice.It helps reduce teaching and administrative staff’s pressures, systematically manage various services and information of education and administration. Meanwhile, it can reduce the use of labour, improve inquiry speed, and strengthen management. At last it would accelerate the college information construction step, and standardizes every kinds of management.
