基于产品基因的继承性设计方法研究

【摘要】 产品设计无论是延续还是创新,都关乎品牌的构建与巩固和企业的可持续发展,这是很多企业都非常重视产品设计的原因。产品形象的延续与创新方法研究也成为了21世纪设计师们关注的研究热点。全球许多著名的企业,例如NOKIA、APPLE、PHILIPS、SONY、SAMSUNG等等,都已经在实际操作的层面开展了探索与实践。在实际的运作中,中国的企业对于如何更新产品形象,维持丰富而又清晰的产品家族,常常陷入困境。在各类产品的开发过程中,很容易凭借自身的经验与灵感,将设计意图映射到新产品的设计中去,只考虑市场定位和外观造型,较少将整个产品家族的形象进行整体规划和设计。本文力求引入有效的产品设计策略,在科学的产品设计方法学体系下,提出基于产品基因的继承性设计方法,通过对企业产品设计的宏观把握,使企业的设计工作更加趋于条理性,为企业的产品设计战略的制定提供理论支持和决策依据。论文通过与生物学领域遗传基因的概念类比,综合企业的品牌与产品设计策略,与工业设计相关领域知识进行比较分析,引入工业设计中的产品家族和产品基因的概念。重点分析了产品的显性基因和隐性基因,并对产品基因具体的提取方法进行了详细阐释。以步步高数字无绳电话项目为载体,收集企业内部和外部与产品设计相关的各方面信息,通过问卷和访谈等多种形式,调查了设计师和消费者对于产品基因的认知程度。对产品设计中应该保留和继承的文化因素、原型因素和产品风格因素做了研究和分析。最后将基于产品基因的继承性设计理论应用于产品方案设计中。

【Abstract】 Owing to inherit and innovation of product design which is involved in the brand building and the sustainable development of enterprises, plenty of companies attaches great importance to the method of product design. The research of continuity and innovative method that continues the image of manufacture has become a focal point in 21st century. Many world famous enterprises including NOKIA、APPLE、PHILIP、SONY、SAMSUNG .etc have already start the exploration and practice in this field.As a matter of fact, Chinese enterprises always mired in difficulties that they can’t ensure their products’continuity and updates very well. During the product design process, designers in companies often mapped the design intent in the design of new manufacture with their own experience and inspiration. They consider the market positioning and appearance of modeling rather than the programming of the entire product family.The dissertation introduces an effective strategy in industrial design, based on the heredity of product gene. The investigation and research of this paper could help the leader of the enterprise or design department take a macro-control of the product family and make the product design more systematically.By comparing with the concept of genetic gene, colligating the strategy of brand and product, we make analysis of all the information. Moreover, we introduce the concept of product family and product gene, focus on the analysis of dominant gene and recessive gene in product design, explaining the method of gene extracting. We will take the BBK digital cordless telephone projects to carry forward the method, analyze the cultural factors, the prototype factors and the products style factors. At the end of the paper, we use the new idea in BBK digital cordless telephone design.
