我国高校地学类专业通识教育课程设置研究

【摘要】 通识教育改革已经成为了高等教育发展的趋势。美国哈佛大学在2007年进行了通识课程改革,以应对社会、政治、经济、文化的新变化。对我国的台湾地区通识教育现状分析显示其通识课程设置相对较为完善。我国一些大学也在进行通识教育改革,取得了明显的进步,但是和国外以及我国的台湾地区相比还是有很多的问题。探讨国外、台湾地区、我国一些大学在通识教育设置上的最新进展以及取得成果与存在的问题,为进一步在地学领域通识教育研究做了理论铺垫。总之,在地学领域的通识教育研究还是甚少,借鉴国内外的通识教育经验,地学通识教育的开展应该注意要注重通识教育目标科学性和系统性等。在国外已经很少有独立的地学类院校,主要是在各研究型大学开设地学类专业,本文选取一些有代表性的国外高校地学专业进行了分析。研究显示:国内的地学专业通识教育目标有待进一步的提升、公选课课程结构松散、通识课程的内容过于偏向应用型和专业化等。并把中国地质大学作为个案进行了详尽的探讨。在此基础之上来研究地学通识课程的设置,从课程目标、课程体系、课程的构建原则入手,得出了地学通识教育的相关结论。结合实际,本文尝试构建了我校地学专业的通识教育课程,认为中国地质大学(北京)宜采用“分布必修型”课程设置模式,即在分布必修的框架下设置课程,并认为通识教育与专业教育整合是具体领域内通识教育实施的关键所在。本文亦相应的提出了若干的通识教育改革建议,即通识教育的发展需要政府的支持、正确处理专业教育与通识教育的关系、要重视教师队伍的建设、加强体制建设等。高校的课程设置是为了与社会、知识、文化发展相协调而不断发展、不断改革的。本文的创新之处在于:在借鉴国内外高校通识教育课程设置的基础上,顺应我国内地高校教育改革的趋势,探讨了地学领域内的通识教育,并结合中国地质大学(北京)的个案研究,尝试性构建出了我国内地高校地学专业的通识课程体系,这对改进与改善我国地学类专业学生素质教育以及我校创新型人才培养有一定的理论导向与可行性。

【Abstract】 The reform of general education is the tendency of higher education developing. In 2007 Harvard University has had the reform of general education curriculum to reply the new changes of society, politics, economics and culture. General education curriculum of Taiwan Province are partly completed. China’s universities are conducting some general education reform and have achieved obvious progress. But they still have many problems on general education when compare with China’s Taiwan and overseas. Studies on the latest progress of general education on foreign country and Taiwan, a number of universities in China ,we can get some results, which will pave the way on the field of geosciences. In short, the general education of geosciences. major is still with a little number. The development of general education should be oriented to the attention of the general education goals, such as scientific and systematic.There are very few comprehensive geosciences colleges in foreign country. The majors of geosciences are mainly college of research universities. We select some foreign colleges and universities to conduct the professional analysis.on geosciences major.We have had some result that is general education goals for further upgrading,,loose structure of curriculum classes, core courses are too biased application-oriented and professional, and so on.And choosing China University of Geosciences as a detailed case to study. On the basis of the study of geological core set of courses, from the course objectives, course system, starting with the principle of building the course, to draw the relevant conclusions of the general education. In light of reality, we try to build a professional school to learn the general education curriculum that China University of Geosciences (Beijing) should adopt the "distribution of compulsory" curriculum model which is compulsory in the distribution set up under the framework of the curriculum and that the general education And professional education in specific areas of integration is the key to the implementation of general education. The paper has also made a number of general education reform proposal that the general education development needs the support of the Government, professional education and to correctly handle the relationship between general education, it is necessary to attach importance to the building of the contingent of teachers, strengthen institutional building.Setting up Colleges’ curriculum is to reply the changes of the community, knowledge, cultural development . On reflecting of foreign country ,we have some research about the general education curriculum on the major of geology, to find the trend of education reform, to explore the geosciences general education. Combined with China University of Geosciences (Beijing) cases Research, we attempt to build a mainland China University of Science and core curriculum, which improve with the improvement of China’s professional colleges students and the quality of colleges education.
