SDH接口在宽带交换中的研究与实现

【摘要】 随着通信市场日趋宽带化和数字化,传统的以语音业务为基础的采用电路交换方式的交换网络已无法适应新的发展趋势。开发下一代的可持续发展的网络已成为电信界的共同心愿。下一代网络将是一个以软交换为核心、光网络和分组型传送技术为基础的开放式融合网。然而在下一代网络还未成熟以前,如何对现有网络进行优化改造并逐步实现向新一代网络平滑演进就成为了通信领域的一个课题。本文从现有的基于SDH的技术着手,提出了一种向NGN平滑演进的工程应用设计,为实现SDH直接接入提出了一种可行的工程解决方案。本课题是在NGS交换平台的基础上研究的,新增了SDH接入部分的功能,从而在NGS平台上实现了SDH的直接接入。NGS是一个能实现向NGN平滑演进的宽带交换系统。它是一个基于多时隙信元MSC的MPSR宽带交换网络,拥有多路径自选路由的能力,其内部交换独立于外部业务。NGS采用全分散控制,使各种功能可方便地分散于不同的模块中。增加新的功能模块就能方便地引入新的业务。因此设计中应用了NGS全分散和外部业务独立于内部交换的特点,在其系统中增加了一个新的宽带链路模块,该模块实现把SDH网络节点传送来的STM-1转换成MPSR内部的格式,使得NGS实现了SDH的直接接入。本设计侧重的是SDH线路终结模块和TDM-MSC交互模块的设计以及最终的硬件测试方案设计。SDH线路终结模块主要完成SDH的终结功能以实现SDH的接入,它包括SDH的终结、自动保护切换、时钟恢复、时钟传输和数据恢复等几个部分。该模块除了采用PMC-Sierra的商用芯片集2*PM5316和4*PM8316实现SDH的接入以外,还引入了1+1 APS保护机制,进一步提高了系统的安全性和容错性。TDM-MSC交互模块完成TDM和MSC格式之间的转换,以实现数据在MPSR交换网络内的交换。该模块采用了两块FPGA芯片来实现其交互逻辑。硬件测试则根据工厂生产方便、快捷的要求,给出了完整的测试方案。而实验数据表明,设计是成功的。

【Abstract】 With the trend of broadbandization and digitization in communication market, the traditional switched network which bases on PSTN can not meet new developing requirement. Developing Next Generation durative-developing Network has been the common expectation in Telecommunication field. NGN which bases on optical network and distributed transmission technology will be a researchful integrated network with hardcore“soft switch”. However, before mature NGN come into being, how to optimize the current network and make it steadily work up to NGN has been a task in telecommunication domain.This article launched on the current SDH technology and raised an engineering application design which set up a feasible engineering solution for implementing SDH directly access and finally realize the smoothly evolvement into NGN.We research this task based on NGS switching system, adding SDH access function, thereby carry out the SDH directly access on NGS. NGS is a switching system which can realize smoothly evolvement to NGN. It possesses MPSR broadband switch network with Multi-slot Cell and ability of Multi-path self-routing. The internal switch function of NGS is independent of external service. NGS adopt the full-separate-control mode which can conveniently integrate kinds of function into varied modules, so new service can be easily introduced by adding new function modules. For the NGS characteristic of“the full-separate-control mode”and“the internal switch function of NGS is independent of external service”, we add a broadband module in NGS system in design phase. This module makes NGS realize SDH directly access by translating STM-1 format from SDH network node to MPSR internal format.This design focus on the design of SDH line termination and TDM-MSC interworking module and final hardware test solution.SDH line termination module implements SDH termination function for SDH access, including following parts: SDH termination, automatic protection switch, clock recovery, transmit clock and data recovery, ect. Besides adopting PMC-Sierra commercial chipset 2*PM5316 and 4*PM8316 for SDH access, we also introduce 1+1 APS to this module for enhancing system ability of security and error toleration. TDM-MSC interworking module can implement the format conversion between TDM and MSC to realize the data switching in MPSR switch network. This module carries out interactive logical by two FPGA chips. According to the requirement from manufactory of expeditiousness and convenience, the hardware test has been given the completive solution and the experiment data show that is a successful design.
