基于WEB3D的虚拟实验及其教学应用研究

【摘要】 虚拟实验是一种借助于图形图像、仿真和虚拟现实等技术在计算机上所营造的,可辅助或部分替代甚至全部替代传统实验各操作环节的软硬件操作环境。随着网络教育的蓬勃发展,人们对教育教学质量的提高给予了极大的关注,网络教育中的实验教学是一个关键点。由于通过网络教育教学形式难以开展实验教学,虚拟实验以其自身诸多特点为网络教育中的实验教学提供了一种很好的解决方案。本文正是在对网络虚拟实验的现状进行分析的基础上,对基于网络的虚拟实验的开发与应用问题进行研究,并以国家精品课程“现代教育技术”中的数字投影仪实验和多媒体教室使用实验为例进行实践。论文首先从网络教育的实验教学这一视角入手,分析了“现代教育技术”公共课实验教学存在的问题,如实验设备的不足、实验时间的冲突等等,提出了虚拟实验的解决方案。该方案不仅可以在一定程度上解决网络教育中实验教学的问题,而且可以促进学生媒体设备操作技能的掌握。论文第二部分对虚拟实验的相关概念进行阐述,从不同的角度对虚拟实验进行分类。通过文献调研、网络搜寻等方式对国内外的研究现状进行梳理,在对现有网络虚拟实验开发技术进行比较的基础上,结合数字投影仪和多媒体教室使用实验的特征,确定采用VRML技术和Java/Javascript技术进行开发。论文第三部分分析了虚拟实验开发和教学应用的理论基础,阐述了网络虚拟实验的设计理念和设计原则。论文第四部分阐述了基于WEB3D的虚拟实验的具体实现过程,介绍了虚拟现实建模语言、Java/Javascript技术、辅助软件3DS MAX与VrmlPad等关键技术,讨论了数字投影仪虚拟实验和虚拟多媒体教室的功能结构和交互设计的实现过程。论文第五部分首先阐述了传统实验教学和虚拟实验教学的差异,并且分析了从虚拟到现实产生迁移的可能性,结合开发的三维虚拟实验提出一种虚实结合的实验教学方案,最后对虚拟实验教学应用作了简单的评价。

【Abstract】 Virtual experiment is an operating environment based on its own hardware and software, which can supplement or replace partly, or evenly wholly, the operating steps for traditional experiments, with the help of graphics, simulation and virtual reality created via computer. With the quick development of network education, the public pay more and more attention to the quality of network teaching, and experiment teaching among network education is a key point that attracts tremendous concerns. The type of network teaching predetermines that it is quite impossible to organize real experiments, thus making virtual experiment which has more excellent characteristic became an applicable way to solve the problem. Under the great trend of this research, the thesis, on the basis of analyzing on present situation about network virtual experiment, makes profound exploration over experiments related to the digital projector and use of multimedia classroom which is part of the Curriculum called Modern Education Technology, a nation-level Perfect Curriculum.The thesis starts with the experiment teaching of network education, analyses problems still existing, such as being short of experiment facilities, and a timetable problem for arranging experiments and so on, concerning experiment teaching of Modern Education Technology, which is a common required course, and finally draws up a program to solve those problems. The program can not only offer solutions to problems existing in experiment teaching in network education to a certain extent, but also provides students with operating methods for them to achieve the know-how.The second part explains definitions related to virtual experiment, and divides virtual experiment from different aspects. The author organizes current research situation home and abroad by searching database and websites, compares different current development technologies of virtual experiment and studies features about digital projector and use of multimedia classroom, and finally decides to adopt technology of VRML and Java/Javascript for exploration,The third part analyses theoretical foundation of virtual experiment exploration and applications, and also expounds ideas and principles of the designing of network virtual experiment.The fourth part discusses the realization of the virtual experiment based on WEB3D, introduces keep technologies such as Virtual Reality Molding Language, Java/Javascript technology, assistant software 3DS MAX and VrmlPad, etc., and probes into functional structure and inter-designing procedures of digital projector virtual experiment and virtual multimedia classroom,.The last part of the thesis tells difference of traditional experiment teaching and virtual experiment teaching, and analyses the possibility of the learning transfer from virtual to reality. We design a program of experiment teaching which integrate virtual experiment and real experiment. At last, we simply evaluate the application of virtual experiment in teaching.
