聚丙烯酸钠/丙烯酰胺/蒙脱土三元共聚复合高吸水性树脂的制备与性能研究

【摘要】 高吸水性树脂是一种新型功能高分子材料,具有很强的吸水能力和保水能力,已得到广泛应用。本文以丙烯酸、丙烯酰胺、蒙脱土为原料,环己烷为分散介质,司班80为分散剂,过硫酸钾为引发剂,N,N’一亚甲基双丙烯酰胺为交联剂,采用反相悬浮法制备了聚丙烯酸钠/丙烯酰胺/蒙脱土(PAA/AM/MMT)复合高吸水性树脂,研究了其制备条件、吸液性能及结构表征。研究了PAA/AM/MMT复合树脂的合成条件如:温度、中和度、蒙脱土用量、单体配比、交联剂用量、引发剂用量等对其吸水性能的影响,获得适宜的制备条件。在单因素试验的基础上,安排四因素三水平正交试验得出最佳制备条件为:反应温度65℃,AA与AM单体质量比为1.5,交联剂用量为0.02%(单体总质量百分比,以下均同),引发剂用量为0.1%,钠基蒙脱土用量为10%,中和度为70%的条件下聚合4小时制得的高吸水性树脂的吸去离子水和10%煤泥水的倍率分别为514g/g和246g/g。详细研究了高吸水性树脂在煤泥水中的吸液性能,结果表明PAA/AM/MMT树脂在煤泥水中的吸液性能较好,吸液速率较快,保水能力和重复吸液能力较强。研究了不同种类和不同含量蒙脱土的加入对复合树脂性能及其结构的影响。试验表明蒙脱土的加入降低了树脂的吸水倍率,添加了有机蒙脱土的复合树脂的吸水倍率略高于添加钠基蒙脱土的;热重(TG)分析表明,钠基蒙脱土的加入在一定程度上提高了复合树脂的热稳定性;红外光谱(IR)和X射线衍射(XRD)对复合树脂的结构表征表明,蒙脱土与共聚物的作用时只有少部分大分子进入钠基土片层进行反应,而大部分蒙脱土只是作为单纯的混杂材料。

【Abstract】 Superabsorbent polymer is one kind of new function high polymer material, whose the ability of water absorbency and water tetention are very strong. It has obtained the widespread application. In this article, using arylis acid, acrylic amide, and montmorillonite clay as start material, cyclohexane as dispersion medium, span 80 as dispersing agent, potassium as initiator, N, N’-methylene-bis-acrylamide as crosslinker, PAA/AM/MMT SAP was synthesized by inverse suspension polymerization reaction. At last its synthesis condition, solution absorbency and construction characterization were studied.The effect of synthesis condition such as temperature, neutral degrees, amount of montmorillonite clay, the molar ratio of AA to AM, amount of crosslinker, amount of initiator on the water absorbency of PAA/AM/MMT SAP was studied, and the suitable synthesis condition was obtained. On the base of single factor experiment, the best synthesis condition was educed by orthogonal experiment:the temperature is 65℃, the neutral degrees is 70%, the amount of sodium base montmorillonite clay is 10%, the molar ratio of AA to AM is 1.5, the amount of crosslinker is 0.02%, the amount of initiator is 0.1% (the percent mention above is relative to the mass of AA and AM), PAA/AM/MMT SAP synthesized 4 hours under this condition has best water absorbency that the water absorbency is 514g/g and the coal solution absorbency is 246g/g.Performance of coal spate absorbency of PAA/AM/MMT SAP was detailed studied. The conclution is the coal solution absorbency of PAA/AM/MMT SAP is good, and the speed of coal solution absorbency is quick, the ability of water tetention and repetition absorbency is strong.The effect of different type and amout of montmorillonite clay on the performance and the structure of compound SAP had been studied. The experimental results indicated the montmorillonite clay which joined to SAP reduced the percentage of water absorbency of SAP, the percentage of water absorbency of PAA/AM/org-MMT was higher than the percentage of water absorbency of PAA/AM/MMT; The thermogravimetry (TG) analysis indicated the sodium base montmorillonite clay which joined to SAP enhanced the thermostability of SAP to a certain extent; Infrared ray (IR) spectrum and X ray diffract (XRD) analysis indicated only few parts entered the earth laminar of sodium base MMT to react, the majority took on the pure promiscuous material.
