基于H.264的实时远程视频监控系统的总体架构

【摘要】 H.264是国际电联ITU-T的视频编码专家组VCEG和国际标准化组织ISO/IEC的活动图像专家组MPEG联合制定的视频编码新标准,其目的是为了获得更好的图像压缩效果和更好地适应不同的网络环境。本文首先介绍视频编码新技术H.264,其中讨论了H.264中所采用的新技术。然后重点介绍基于H.264的工程应用实例——基于H.264的公共信息亭实时远程视频监控系统的总体架构。在分析视频监控系统网络化趋势和实时性要求的基础上,本系统采用以DSP TMS320C6416和ARM微控制器为核心的支持IP网络的嵌入式H.264视频编码器。给出了系统结构原理及硬件设计,实现了DSP编码算法和面向RTP/UDP/IP的NAL接口。同时对实现实时远程视频监控系统的关键传输技术进行了较深入的研究,解决了视频数据连续性和视频数据丢包等问题。测试表明,系统能够进行高质量的视频网络化传输。本系统实现了信息亭数字化和网络化的监控系统,从亭子自身安全防护、集中管理发面发挥效益,为苏州的数字化建设打下了坚实的基础。

【Abstract】 H.264 is the new standard of video codes formulated by the international electricityassociation ITU-DT’s video codes expert group (VCEG) and the InternationalStandardization Organization ISO/IEC’s moving picture expert group (MPEG).Its goal isfor obtaining the better image compression effect and adapting the different networkenvironment well.This article introduced the new technical of the video codes -H.264, and emphaticallydiscussed the new technology used in H.264.Then,the article key introduced the projectapplication example based on H.264-the general frame of the public information station’sreal-time long-distance video supervisory system based on H.264. Depending on theanalysis of the networking trend and the real-time demand of video monitoring system,DSP TMS320C6416 and ARM micro-controller are used to implement an embedded videoencoder with IP network. This paper presents the principle of system structure andhardware design, while finishes DSP encoding algorithm and NAL interface forRTP/UDP/IP. Simultaneously the paper studies the key transmission technology of how tobuild the real-time tong-distance video capture(monitor) system. The problem has beensolved on sequence and lost package of video stream data in non-broad bandenvironment. The test shows that the platform can support transmitting video flows in ahigh quality via Ethernet networks.This system has realized the digitization and network supervisory system ofinformation station. The system can protect and centralized manage the information station.Simultaneously this system has built the solid foundation for Suzhou’s digitizedconstruction.
