【摘要】 超宽带(UWB)通信技术是一种新兴的短距离无线通信技术,因具有高达GHz的带宽并能提供上百兆的高速率等优点,成为当前研究与开发的热点。但是,超宽带技术要走向成熟,还需要解决许多关键的技术问题。其中之一就是接收机的硬件实现,要求它不仅有良好的接收性能,还要有简单的结构。本文首先论述了超宽带通信的发展动态、基本原理和信道模型。接下来讨论了几种UWB接收技术。然后着重围绕自适应最小均方误差(MMSE)的DS-UWB多用户检测方案展开论述并分析其在FPGA上的实现性能。通过分析比较不同自适应算法在FPGA实现接收方案中的效果,得出LMS算法的误码率和计算复杂度都较RLS算法低,所以选择它来调整权系数的结论。在此基础上,借助软件设计为硬件实现提供接收信号并利用FPGA实现了该接收过程,其中提出了一种利用SOPC开发的方法将接收数据烧写入Flash中。另外,为了协调Flash与FPGA时钟频率不同的问题,提出了一种使用FIFO以及互相反馈的方式来提高设计的性能和灵活性。

【Abstract】 Ultra-Wideband (UWB) is a novel short-distance wireless communication technique, which has a wide bandwidth up to GHz and is able to provide a high data rate up to Mbps, thus it becomes a hot spot in current researches. However, there are some key problems must be solved before it is matured, one of which is the hardware implementation of its receiver. It requires not only a good performance, but also a simple structure.In this paper, the develop trends, the basic theory and the multipath channel model of UWB communication are introduced at first. After that, we lay emphasis on the multiuser detection for DS-UWB receiver based on MMSE method and analyze the performance on FPGA. By comparing the receiver’s performances using different kinds of adapter algorithm on FPGA , we conclude that LMS algorithm has the lower error rate and simpler calculation than RLS algorithm, therefore, LMS algorithm is chosen to adjust the power in this design. Based on these, received signals are created with the aid of software and the whole receive process is implemented on FPGA. Hereinto a storage scheme which can programme the received data into Flash by the SOPC design method is advanced in this design. In addition, in order to coordinate the different clock frequency between Flash and FPGA, the way of utilizing FIFO and feedback mutually is put forward, which can provide better performance and flexibility for the design.
