车间层网络管理系统代理的研究与实现

【摘要】 现代企业的车间制造系统自动化程度得到了极大的提高,使用的现场设备及其通信网络的数量与种类都多于任何一个历史时期。由于现场设备及网络的分散性和多样性,企业生产对它们的依赖程度日日益加强的同时,要求必须对现场设备及网络的运行提供可靠保障。利用车间层网络管理系统对网络及设备进行统一的配置与故障管理成为迫切的需求。面对智能化程度千差万别的现场设备,如何开发一个网管代理,使其不仅能执行对本地以太网设备的管理,还能执行对外围非以太网设备的管理,是车间层网络管理系统的研究热点与难点。论文通过分析车间层网络及现场设备的发展现状与趋势,论证了两个要点:第一,以太网技术应用到车间层网络是工业控制网络的发展趋势之一;第二,现场设备将向智能化方向发展并逐步支持工业以太网。因此将计算机网络管理技术应用于车间层网络管理系统不仅具有前瞻性,也具有可行性。论文随后对计算机网络管理技术,尤其是网管代理的开发技术进行了详细介绍。网管代理的开发以某企业的制造执行系统(MES)项目为应用背景。该MES系统中的单元控制器是一个基于DOS的单板PC机嵌入式系统,可接入条码枪、RFID读写器、光电开关、VGA显示器等外设,工作于以太网环境,是较典型的现场设备,但缺乏SNMP网络管理功能。论文针对单元控制器及其外设,介绍了管理信息库(MIB)的设计,网管代理的设计。最后,通过改进单元控制器应用软件构架,扩充了网管代理功能模块,使得单元控制器及其外围设备统一支持车间层网络管理系统的配置管理与故障管理,达到了增强原制造执行系统网络及设备的可扩展性,可管理性的目的。这种车间层网络管理系统的体系结构,尤其是网管代理的设计与实现方法对其他以太网环境的车间层网络管理方案的提出具有极大的借鉴作用。

【Abstract】 The workshop manufacture system of modern enterprises has reached a high level of automation, and both the quantity and variety of the field equipment and network is more than that of any historical period. Due to the variety and distributed trait of field equipment, enterprises rely on them tight, and it’s required keeping the network and field equipment running reliably. A workshop tier network management system (WNMS) is essential to configuration and fault management of the network and field equipment. Facing the numerous field equipment of different intelligence, how to develop an agent, which can not only manage the local Ethernet equipment, but also the peripheral non-Ethernet equipment, is research hotspot and difficulty of WNMS.Via the discussion of the development and trend of workshop tier network and field equipment, it proposed two key points: Firstly, it’s a trend of industrial control network to apply Ethernet technology to workshop tier network. Secondly, field equipment would be more intelligent and compatible to industrial Ethernet. Therefore, it’s feasible to apply the computer network management technology to WNMS, and it also shows great foresight. Then, the technology of computer network management, especially for the agent is discussed.We develop the agent in the background of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) of one enterprise. The MES cell controller is a DOS-based single board PC embedded system, and it can connect barcode scanner, RFID reader, photoelectric sensor, VGA display etc. It’s a kind of typical field equipment, working in Ethernet, however, there’s no SNMP network management function in it. For this cell controller and its peripheral equipment, the design of Management Information Base (MIB) is introduced, as well as the design of agent. We reformed the software architecture of cell controller, added SNMP agent function into it, made the cell controller and its peripheral equipment supporting the configuration and fault management of WNMS, and finally, enhanced the extensible and manageable ability of the former MES network.The system architecture of WNMS, especially the design and implementation of agent can also be reference to other workshop network management solution of Ethernet environment.
