远程教育中成人学习者时间管理的研究

【摘要】 时间管理倾向是个体在运用时间方式上所表现出来的心理和行为特征,是一种具有多维度层次心理结果的人格特征,由时间价值感、时间监控观和时间效能感构成。时间管理在一定程度上体现了自我管理的能力,它对于提高工作和学习效率,提高成绩有重要的意义。远程教育环境下的成人学习者都面临着处理工学矛盾的问题,学习时间不能得到有效的保证。对他们来说如何正确的管理时间、做好统筹规划是远程学习过程中的首要问题。此外,远程开放的学习方式对远程学习者的自主学习能力也提出了更高的要求,强调学习者在远程学习过程中应该具备一定自我计划、自我监控、自我评价的能力。显而易见的是,远程学习者时间管理能力是一项基本技能,它是进行远程学习的前提,是自主学习能力的重要影响因素。个人的时间管理倾向渗透于日常生活、学习、工作的时间管理中,表现为个人利用和运筹时间的具体行为。本研究首先通过调查研究的方法考察远程学习者的时间管理倾向,并通过数据的收集与整理探讨学习者时间管理倾向的特点。研究结果发现:(1)参加被试的远程学习者均持有较低水平的时间管理倾向,远程学习经历较短的学习者持有较高的时间监控观。(2)远程学习者的时间管理倾向与传统学习者有显著的差异,具体表现在传统学习者持有较高的时间监控观和时间效能感。(3)远程学习者的时间监控观和时间价值感对学生的学业成就有显著的预测作用。结合调查研究的结论,本研究进一步分析了他们在时间管理上的问题和原因,并以分析结果为依据提出了具体的培养方案,传授学习者有效时间管理的策略。最后重点探讨了在线时间管理监控系统作为促进学习者掌握时间管理策略有效途径的实践意义,并提出了详细的设计方案与实现模型。虽然研究学习者时间管理的文献很多,但是本文站在远程教育领域的角度,探讨了远程学习者的时间管理倾向特点,并提出具体可行的培养方案和系统实现,这对于促进远程教育机构更深入地了解学习者特征,完善远程学习环境有着重要的理论和实践意义。

【Abstract】 The time management disposition reflects the way that individuals make use of and controls his time, and it can be considered as a kind of personality trait which is a multi-dimension and multi-level mental structure, include the sense of time value, the sense of time control, the sense of time efficacy. On some degree, time management reflects the ability of self-control. It is quite significant to improve work and study efficiency; For every distance learner, work and study always have conflicts. They could not always guarantee enough learning time. For them, how to manage time efficiently is their chief problem. Furthermore, distance learning is a kind of open learning, it requires distance learners to have strong learning ability. It emphasizes that distance learners have strong self-plan, self-monitoring and self-assessment abilities. It is obvious that time management ability is a basic ability for distance learners. It is the precondition for distance learning and it has great infection on self-study. Individual time management exists in daily life, study and work. It displays through individual behavior when one using time.This research first investigates time management disposition of distance learners, then collects the and analyze the data to discuss the characteristics of distance learners’ time management disposition. The main conclusions are as follows:(1) All the testees have low-level time management disposition, but distance learners who have longer distance learning experience have higher time-control concept.(2) There are great differences between distance learners’ and traditional learners’ time management disposition. Traditional learners have higher time-control and time-efficiency concept.(3) Time-control and time-value concepts have distinct effects on distance learners’ learning achievements.According to the investigation results, this research further analyzes the problems and reasons of distance learners on time management. Based on the analysis, the author put forward some material training solutions in order to give the distance learners some effective time management strategies. Finally, the author talks about the signification of online time management systems on promoting distance learners to master time management strategies, and gives detailed design solution and models.Although there are many literatures talking about time management, this thesis discusses the characteristics of distance learners’ time management disposition form distance education view. The author puts forward feasible solution and model, which is very important for distance education organizations to further understand characteristics of distance learners and improve distance learning environment.
