改性膨润土对染料吸附的热力学及动力学研究

【摘要】 膨润土是一种层状结构的硅酸盐粘土矿物。由于其结构上的特点,膨润土具有许多优异的理化性能,尤其是作为性能优良的吸附剂被广泛地应用于各行业生产中。印染废水因有机含量高、色度深、排放量大、水质复杂而成为难以治理的工业废水之一,而脱色是治理过程的关键问题。在目前常见的化学、生物和物理脱色处理中,以物理法的吸附脱色法最为简便有效。迄今为止最优良的吸附剂是活性炭,但由于活性炭价格及再生费用高,使其受到限制,因此开发高效廉价的吸附剂成为有关学者的研究热点。本文采用钠化、酸活化和铁柱撑等方法对广西宁明膨润土改性,将改性膨润土用于染料废水处理,从吸附热力学和动力学两方面系统研究了改性膨润土对两种染料的吸附过程,比较了不同改性膨润土对两种染料的吸附性能。实验结果表明,改性膨润土对酸性靛蓝的吸附符合Langmuir等温吸附模型,298K时,钠化膨润土、酸化膨润土和铁柱撑膨润土对酸性靛蓝染料的饱和吸附量分别为14.45mg g-1,205.2mg g-1,41.43mg g-1,吸附是一自发的放热过程,吸附动力学符合准二级动力学方程。改性膨润土对阳离子黄X-8GL的吸附符合Langmuir等温吸附模型,298K时,钠化膨润土、酸化膨润土和铁柱撑膨润土对阳离子黄X-8GL染料的饱和吸附量分别为118.1mg g-1,17.62mg g-1,28.17mg g-1,吸附是一自发的吸热过程,吸附动力学符合准二级动力学方程。

【Abstract】 Bentonite, a kind of layered aluminosilicate clay, possesses of many special physical and chemical properties resulting from its structure characteristic. It has been widely used as adsorbent in all walks of lives.Dye wasterwater has been one of the most difficult environment problems for it gets high content of organism, heavy color and large quantity let, complex component. At present, the physichical adsorption is the simplest and most efficient means dealing with decolorization by chemical, biological and physical method. So far, active carbon is the most excellent adsorbent. However, its application is limited for its expensive production and high regeneration cost. To develop effeicient and low-cost adsorbent has been the focus of scholars.This thesis studied the adsorption thermdynamics and kinetics of two kinds of dyestuff onto bentonite modified by sodium, acid and iron hydroxyl from Ningming, Guangxi. The adsorption properties of different modified bentonite were compared. The result illustrates that the adsorption of Acid Blue 74 from aqueous solution onto modified bentonite is correlated with the Langmuir type isotherm equation. At 298K, the maxmum adsorption of sodium bentonite, acid bentonite and iron hydroxyl pillared bentonite is 14.45 mg g-1, 205.2 mg g-1, 41.43 mg g-1 respectively. The adsorption kinetics result illustrates it fit the pseudo-second order equation. The adsorption of Basic Yellow 13 from aqueous solutions by modified bentonite is also correlated with the Langmuir type isotherm equation and the adsorption kinetics result illustrates it fit the pseudo-second order equation. At 298K, the maxmum adsorption of sodium bentonite, acid bentonite and iron hydroxyl pillared bentonite is 118.1 mg g-1, 17.62 mg g-1, 28.17 mg g-1 respectively.
