网络学习社区中社会性交互分析及对策

【摘要】 随着计算机网络的发展与普及,人们越来越多地使用QQ、E-mail、BBS等CMC工具在网络空间中进行沟通与交流。这种虚拟社会性交互的产生、维持逐渐形成了一个个基于个体兴趣与专门化需求基础上的社会集合体,即网络社区。其中,带有一定学习内容的网络学习社区成为人们非正式学习的重要场所之一,也是近年来国内外教育技术领域和远程教育领域研究的一个热点。虚拟社会性交互推动了网络学习社区的形成和发展,是维系其存在的根本,因此如何改善其中的社会性交互是建设好网络学习社区的关键。本文选取了“水木社区”、“牛津中小学英语网”、“北大网院BBS”三个案例,运用社会网络分析法等多种研究方法分析它们的社会性交互情况。笔者认为交互平台,交互者自身的特征,交互环境,包括网络社区的讨论氛围、发帖的内容和质量、采用的奖惩策略等都是影响网络社区中社会性交互的因素。根据参与社会性交互的程度,将网络社区的成员分为核心参与者、积极参与者和潜水者三种角色,这些角色对社区有着不同的贡献,并且一定情况下可以相互转换。在分析比较案例的基础上,提出增强网络学习社区中社会性交互的策略,利用这些方法、技术来支持、促进教育领域类网络学习社区的社会性交互,从而提高学习效果。

【Abstract】 With the development and popularization of Internet technology, more and more people use QQ E-mail BBS etc. to communicate in the cyberspace. The formation and maintence of the virtual social interaction forms online communities based on individual interest and special needs. The online learning communities which of some learning content have become one of the important informal study sites. Moreover, online learning communities are also the hot topic for the area of Educational Technology and Distant Education. Virtual social interaction promotes the formation and development of online communities. It is the fundamental factor for the maintence of online learning communities. Therefore, one of the way to develop the online learning community is to improve its social interaction.In this paper we use social network analysis method an so on to analyze the social interaction phenomenon in three cases. Interaction platform, the characteristic of the participants, Interaction environment,such as discussion atmosphere, the content and quality of the posts, rewards and punishment strategies are all the important factors for the social interaction in an online learning community.According to the participational extent, the roles of an online learning community can be separated to key participants, active participants and lurks. The three kinds of roles can be transformed into each other in a certain instance. On the basis of analysis and comparative three cases of online learning communities, we give some strategies on how to enhance social interaction. Making use of these methods and technologies to improve social interaction in the online learning communities of education field, therefore, advancing learning effect.
