海底沉积层声学特性提取及信号处理方法研究

【摘要】 海底沉积层声学特性提取在军事和民用上都具有重要意义。本学位论文主要研究了海底沉积层声速参数的提取问题,设计了海底沉积层声学参数提取模型,深入研究了相关分析和小波变换的原理及其在海底回波数据处理中的应用问题。通过应用这两种算法,并结合海底沉积层声学参数提取模型和MATLAB软件,对海底回波数据进行了包络分析,得到了通过首层沉积层的折射波的波达时间,提取出了海底沉积层的声速。本文的研究表明,相关分析和小波变换这两种算法都可用于海底沉积层声速的提取,在误差允许的范围内,提取出的声速参数与已知文献的结论吻合较好。比较分析应用这两种算法得到的数据处理结果,可知用小波变换求得的声速误差更小些,说明用小波变换对海底回波数据进行处理不仅改善了信噪比,而且还保持了很好的时间分辨率,有利于海底沉积层声学特性的提取。本文的研究为我国开展深海海底声学特性研究提供了一种思路,对未来海底资源的开发利用具有重要的参考价值。

【Abstract】 The extraction of acoustic characteristics of ocean sediment has great importance to civil and military activities. This thesis focuses mainly on the extraction of sound speed of ocean sediment. A seabed model for extracting the acoustic characteristics of ocean sediment has been established. The principia of correlation analysis and wavelet transform as well as their applications in the seabed echo data processing have been studied thoroughly. Based on the seabed model for extracting the acoustic characteristics of ocean sediment and using the MATLAB software, the envelope analysis of seabed echo data has been conducted, the arrival time of the acoustic waves refracted by the first sediment has been obtained, and the sound speed of ocean sediment has been extracted by applying the two algorithms of correlation analysis and wavelet transform, respectively. The research in this thesis has shown that both the correlation analysis and wavelet transform can be used to extract the sound speed of ocean sediment, and the extracted sound speed is in accordance with the reported value in some literatures within the error limits. A comparison between the results obtained by using the two algorithms shows that the deviations of sound speed from the wavelet transform algorithm are smaller than those from correlation analysis algorithm, which demonstrates that the wavelet transform can not only raise the signal-to-noise ratio but also keep high time resolution, so it is more suitable for seabed echo data processing. The research conducted in the thesis provides not only a feasible idea for the study of acoustic characteristics of Deep Ocean, but also some important references for the development and utilization of seabed resources in the future.
