基于WBEM的网络管理系统的研建

【摘要】 随着计算机网络的迅速发展,网络设备和网络上运行的各种应用服务越来越多,计算机网络正变得日益复杂,给网络管理带来了巨大的压力。传统网管系统大都面向网络层设备,如HP公司的OpenView、IBM公司Tivoli、CA的Unicenter等,这类软件大都是应用平台,功能强大,但是价格昂贵,主要应用于大型网络的管理。而局域网、园区网和城域网(以下简称园区类网络)受制于资金以及具体需求多变所限,发展缓慢,目前还没有成熟的该类型网管系统,给这类网络的管理造成不便。本论文在分析园区类网络管理特点的基础上,讨论了这类网络管理的体系结构,并以该体系结构为指导,设计实现了基于WBEM的网络管理系统——Macis。论文首先介绍了网络管理的基本理论,对网络管理的各类模型进行了阐述,包括CMIP、SNMP、WBEM、CORBA等,并介绍了当前流行的商业网管软件以及开源网络管理项目。在以上理论基础之上,本文详细介绍了Macis网络管理系统的设计与实现。第三章提出一个基于Web的综合网络管理系统框架,涵盖园区类网络管理的大部分应用需求,包括系统总体结构、技术架构以及部署方案;第四章介绍Macis系统的基本原理及其核心结构;第五章详细说明了系统的设计实现及界面展示。最后分析了系统的不足,并提出了改进意见。Macis系统分为数据层、网络管理层、Web接口层,其中数据层核心程序采用C语言编写而成,执行效率高,主要负责数据的输入、处理以及输出,其监控功能通过外部插件完成,提高了系统的扩展性。本系统采用B/S结构,界面友好,功能实用,实现了对园区类网络中大量存在的服务器、主机以及各种应用服务的管理,满足了这类网络管理的需要。该系统已在北京市西城区教育城域网安装测试,取得了良好的效果,研究表明,该系统结构设计合理,性能稳定,扩展性强。

【Abstract】 With the rapid development of computer network,more and more network devices and running services and included into the network,making it more complicated,thus bringing in more pressure to network management.Most traditional NMS(Network Management System) such as OpenView,IBM Tivoli,CA Unicenter focus more on device of network layer.And they are functionally powerful and easy to use,except for the high price,making them mainly used in large network management.Limited by the money and specific demands, LAN,Campus and WAN (campus-type network in short) management develops slowly and there is no mature NMS in this field.Based on the analysis of campus-type network management,this paper is supposed to put up with an architecture of NMS,and develop a Macis NMS to meet the requirement of campus-type network management.First,this paper will talk about the basic theory of network management and specify those models such as CMIP,SNMP,WBEM,CORBA etc.Also we will introduce most popular NMSes both from commercial companies and open source community.Second,we will stress more on the design and implementation of Macis NMS.Chapter 3 will put forward an architecture of NMS,covering most management demands in campus-type network,including system structure,technical structure and implementation.Chapter 4 talks about basic principles and core structure of Macis.And Chapter 5 mainly shows the setup of Macis and user interface.At last,the paper will analyze the weakness of Macis and propose modification suggestion.Macis is composed of three parts:data layer,network management layer and web interface layer.The core program is coded in C language and performs efficiently,mainly taking charge of the data input,process and output.External plugins written in perl or shell will perform the monitoring which improve the expansibility of the system.Based on B/S structure,Macis NMS is designed with good interface and utility,providing management of servers,services,hosts and other network
