【摘要】 马球,世界上最古老的球类运动之一,曾在公元六世纪到九世纪时在全亚洲广泛流行。唐朝时期,马球成为了皇室贵族最喜爱的运动,并得到了大力的推广和发展。一时间,全国上下球场林立,打球成风。唐朝的多位皇帝都深爱这项运动,并且是马球高手,更有皇帝因打球而丧命。那么到底当时的马球运动是怎么样开展的呢?在唐朝时期马球究竟流行到一种什么样的程度呢?是什么原因使马球具有如此大的魅力能够在当时这样受欢迎呢?本文综合前人的研究成果,在考察了新旧唐书、新旧五代史、宋史、辽史、金史等史书的基础上,结合全唐诗、全唐文、通典、唐会要等重要历史文献,并运用敦煌文书、唐墓壁画等史料,对唐朝时期的马球运动作了细致的推理和考证,试图完整的再现唐朝时期马球运动的盛况。另外,本文对马球运动在唐朝时期流行的原因,从经济、政治和文化三个方面进行了讨论,从中总结经验,吸取教训,希望能够对我国现今体育事业的发展起到积极的推动作用。更多还原

【Abstract】 Polo is one of the oldest ball games in the world. Between the 6th and 9th century, it was so popular in Asia. At the Tang Dynasty, Polo was supported and made great progress, for it became a favorite sport of royalties’. At that time, there were so many squares of this sport all over the country and Polo became a symbol of fashion. Lots of emperors of Tang Dynasty were good at this game. They loved it very much and even some of them died for it. After all, what were the real scenes of the Polo game at the Tang Dynasty? How did the Polo game popular at that time? What made Polo so glamorous to be the most fashionable sport? This thesis summed up the previous studies, united The whole Tang poetry , The Complete works of Essays of Tang Dynasty , General History of System , Tang Hui Yao, made a meticulous inference and a textual criticism about the Polo game at the Tang Dynasty and tried to reappear the grand occasions of the game, based on the researches of the New and Old Books of the Tang Dynasty, the New and Old Books of the Five Dynasty, History of Song Dynasty , History of Liao Dynasty , History of Jin Dynasty and the utilization of Dunhuang Documents, frescoes in the mausoleums of the Tang Dynasty. Moreover, this thesis analyzed the reasons for Polo’s fashionable at Tang Dynasty by three aspects--financial condition, political affairs and cultural events.
