【摘要】 当今世界，可持续发展已成为人类社会历史进程中不可阻挡的潮流，它已超越了民族、国家和地区的界限，在经济、政治、文化等各个领域深刻影响着世界各国的发展进程，尤其是对作为发展中大国的中国现代化建设来说，影响更为深远。 可持续发展是人类关于发展的新战略思想，是建立在人类与自然界、经济和社会、人与人之间，合理、平衡、协调发展基础上的，它确立了“以人为本位”的新观念，这与精神文明建设是紧密相联的。因此，弄清精神文明建设与可持续发展的内在联系，梳理精神文明建设现状中存在的不适应可持续发展要求的问题及其原因，进而从可持续发展的角度出发，不断探索进一步加强精神文明建设要遵循的原则和途径，对于促进人的全面发展和我国社会可持续发展战略的顺利实施以及社会主义现代化建设宏伟目标的实现，有着极为重要的理论和现实指导意义。更多还原

So we should study carefully the internal relation of the sustainable development and the construction of spiritual civilization, the problems and reasons in the present situation of the construction of spiritual civilization, which are insisted with the sustainable development.
