构建基于组件技术的Web数据库应用

【摘要】 本文介绍了信息系统计算模式不同的发展阶段和组件技术的概念、特点和分类，以及基于组件技术的开发方法。同时重点阐述了Sybase公司的企业Web解决方案---EAServer，介绍了EAServer的体系结构和工作流程，EAServer中的组件事务服务器Jaguar CTS和页面应用服务器PowerDynamo的特点及应用。详细说明了如何利用PowerBuilder8.0开发EAServer组件，并将其部署到EAServer服务器中，由PowerDynamo响应客户端的请求来调用EAServer中组件的方法，并将执行的结果返回给客户。并且以一个通用网上考试系统为实例，系统地介绍利用PowerBuilder8.0和EAServer构建基于组件技术的Web数据库应用系统的全过程。更多还原

【Abstract】 This paper introduces different developing stages of Information System and components’ concepts?characters and classification, developing methods based on components and so on. It mainly describes Sybase’ s enterprise web application solution-EAServer, which includes EAServer’ s systematic architecture and work flow procedure, the character and application of component transaction server Jaguar CTS and web application server PowerDynamo. It illustrates detailed how to use PowerBuilder 8.0 develop EAServer components, and how to deploy them to EAServer server, PowerDynamo responds the requirements from clients through calling methods of components. As an instance of General Online Exam System, It systematic introduces the whole procedure of making use of PowerBuilder and EAServer to develop the web database application system based on components.更多还原
