【摘要】 本论文的研究对象是中国现当代文学的电影改编。立论的出发点是文学与电影内在关联和本质差异，研究的重点是电影对中国现代和当代文学作品的审美转换方式和转换过程。以20世纪中国文学史与电影史的顺序作为双重结构线索，把20世纪中国文学的电影改编史划分两个时期，探讨现代文学经典与新时期以来作品的电影改编。改编成功的作品进行文学与电影审美的比较，分析文学的改编在中国电影中存在的一些问题，而比较两个时期改编的异同。 本文由三个部分组成。第一部分重点论述中国电影改编史上两个高峰时期——20世纪20年代和20世纪八九十年代文学与电影改编转化的实践。第一个时期的改编以现代文学经典著作为主，而第二个时期的改编以当代畅销作品为对象。笔者在个案分析的基础上，力图总结出每一时期的基本特点和经验教训，在此基础上比较这两个时期在取材、题材、艺术风格、导演编剧等方面的异同。 论文的第二部分，笔者着力探讨改编过程中的理论与方法。包括改编对象的选择、风格的处理、改编方法及导演问题等。改编对象的选择受制于预想的改编结果，在20年代，较接近戏剧这种文学样式的作品较容易成为选择的对象，80年代后，戏剧不再充当小说与电影之间的中介，小说成为导演们的首选，不论是长篇、中篇，还是短篇，他们都可以运用不同的方式进行处理。改编风格分为忠实于原著和创造两类，但改编方法则丰富多彩。80年代与20年代最大的不同在于导演的参与性空前加强。对新时期的电影作品进行深入研究，我们可以发现，电影导演的不同风格造成了改编中的“同构与变异”等现象。 本论文的第三部分，探讨文学改编的价值与影响。从文学原著与剧本的差异，我们可以获得观察文学的另一种角度，其中最重要的是叙事方法的转换。笔者将论述电影与文学在叙事方面的差异，而这种差异体现了两种艺术门类的根本差别。关于文学改编的影响，笔者通过比较文学作品与电影中都存在的“意象”这一重要美学概念进行阐述。论文的最后则分别论述改编在电影史上和文学史上价值。 本文将努力总结出电影改编的规律性的东西，并以此为指导，对中国现当代文学进行文学转化意义上的梳理和理论概括，揭示文学转化的意蕴，考察其对中国现当代文学发展及文学转化研究的推动作用，确立透过文学转化进行现当代文学研究的新视点。更多还原
