地理学科发展教育探论

【摘要】 教育与人的发展问题,是教育的永恒主题。为学生的发展而教育是我们必须树立的核心理念。教育的核心价值应该是促进发展:教育必须建立一个以“人”为中心的,与自然环境、社会环境高度协调、和谐的生态系统,通过充分发展人的个性并加强对人权的尊重,促进人的主动健康、全面和谐发展,从而实现人类、经济、社会和自然生态的可持续发展。培养个体主动发展的能力是基础教育开发人的生命潜能的最本质的任务,地理教育应把形成学生主动、健康发展的意识与能力作为核心价值。地理教学最基本的立足点是为学生的多方面主动发展服务。教学过程的本质是为学生创造一种更有成效的互相激发智慧和创造力的环境,让学生的创造力互相激励,从而产生使他们终身受益的智慧。以学生发展为本的地理教学应该追求这样一种新境界:①真正的学习是用头脑和心灵充实智慧;②知识不一定就是力量,知识的运用才是力量,知识的创造性运用即智慧;③地理教学的独特价值是培养学生的地理智慧——即通过综合性、空间性和全球性思维,创造性地运用地理知识以促进人、自然、社会的可持续发展。

【Abstract】 The development problems of education and people are an eternal theme of education. The key idea that we must establish is to educate for students’ development. Promoting development should be the key value of education. Education should take "people" as the center, and it should be a harmonious ecosystem which is highly coordinating with natural environment and social environment. In order to realize the sustainable development of mankind, economy, society and nature, we should fully develop people’ s individual character, respect human rights, promote people’ s healthy, overall and harmonious development on their own initiative. The most essential task of basic education lies in developing the latent energy of people and fostering the capacity of individual development on their own. Geography education should take developing the idea and ability ofstudents’ healthy development on their own initiative as the key value. The basic foothold ofgeo-graphy education is to let the students develop in many aspects on their own initiative. The essence of teaching process is to create a kind of more effective environment which will stimulate the students’ intelligence and creativity mutually. Let the students arouse each other’ s creativity, and they are sure to produce intelligence which will be of benefit to them for life.Geography education which bases on the development of students’ should pursue a new realm: (1) The real study is to enrich one’ s intelligence with one’ s heart and soul. (2) Knowledge might not be power, only the application of knowledge is real power, and the creative application of knowledge is intelligence. (3) The unique value of geography teaching is to make the students have geography intelligence ?namely through comprehensive and global thinking with sense of space, the students will use geography knowledge creatively , then we will really promote the sustainable development of people, nature and society.
