作为在绘画中承担表意作用的阴影

【摘要】 本文以阴影在不同历史时期的表现特征为线索,通过对达·芬奇、卡拉瓦乔、伦勃朗以及蒙克、契里柯等艺术家的个案分析,试图揭示出阴影由再现物像的形式手法,逐渐转变为一种表现自我、展示精神性诉求的绘画语言。而我的毕业创作,正是以阴影为中心,进一步探索阴影在绘画、尤其是在石版画创作中的表意功能。

【Abstract】 My thesis focuses on the visual functions of shadows, especially on the evolvement of their functions and representational features in different historical times. I will explore classic examples such as De Vinci, Caravaggio, Rembrandt as well as Munch and De chirico, Through these case studies I intend to discuss how shadows have developed from a formulaic method into a self-expression and a visual delivery of one mental state. My graduation show also concentrates on the function of shadows in the context of two-dimensional image-making, especially in the context of lithograph-making.
